So how do you trade things with people on here so that you don't get ripped off?

pretty much, the best bet it to check someones 'iTrader Rating' and if you are still unsure check some of their previous posts and look at look for any previous transations

Long time regular members here are probably much less worry than somebody with just a few posts. Pay in a way that you get protection and make sure the seller or buyer is responsive in questions, mature and so on.

Get a phone number to contact if the transaction is large as well. An established email is good too, preferably one from an ISP and not a free service.
