Board Problems
Lately I have had the board ask me to log in, even though I am logged in, and when I enter the forums, it says I am logged in and no longer asks for my name and password. And for some reason I cannot edit my posts, that I posted from a long time ago.
Its weird. I am logged in, but the fields to log in are still open. Thx |

There is a time limit on how long posts can be editted, but I forget how long that is. When did you start noticing the Logged In/Out problem? Possibly try deleting the cookie for MR2Board and see if that fixes it. Let me know what happens with it.

Delete all the MR2Board.com cookies and when you log on make sure you select the option to keep your password the very first time you do it.

This happened to me with Firefox quite a while back. Go into your Options under Cookies, and make sure "Allow sites to set cookies is checked". If that doesn't fix it, as a test, see if it happens with IE or another browser, and see if you are having the same problem on other computers.

Clear your MR2Board.com cookies in FF, make sure you have them all. Do not go to MR2Board.com after you do so. Close FF, open IE, go to cookies, make sure there are no MR2Board.com cookies there as well. Delete your Cache in IE. Open up FF log into the board, make sure you select the option to keep you logged in....that should work.
EDIT: The correct way to fix this is the following: Open up Internet Explorer. Go to Tools / Internet Options Go to the Privacy Tab Click the 'Advanced' option. Check mark 'Override Automatic Cookie Handeling' Accept all First Party cookies and block all Third Party Cookies Checkmark 'Always allow session cookies' 'OK' your way out. All should be well, please post if this fix worked for you. --Josh |
