SW20 TRD LSD
Just wondering how much would a new and used SW20 TRD mechanical LSD, 2way, PN#41301-SW211, cost?

I've seen used TRD LSD units go for about $500-600 through local used parts stores, they however do not come with any sort of warranty. The Japanese usually do take better care of their cars though.

No longer available for Toyota, discontinued. Last new one I saw for sale was in Japan @ $1285 US + shipping. You may be able to find a used one starting around $350 US up to probably $700. Rebuild/repair kits are still available from TRD. Best chance to find one is in the UK, AU or maybe NZ. my 2 cents |

I'm going to put one in my tranny when I find one, the TRD units are solid and have a good reputation for street use. You pretty much know what your getting. Thery are pretty hard to find now. There are 3 or 4 other manufacturers of LSD units for the SW20, some cheaper, some more expensive. If your going race or do auto-x, I would research the other guys, CUSCO, Quaife, KAAZ.

How hard is it to install LSD into the MR2? What other components do you need besides the LSD? |
