ATTN: Mods

A friend of mine (SamuraiSam). A quite knowledgeable friend of mine, who may come off as an *******, but knows what he's talking about more than probably anyone else I know, recently created an account after I showed him my Walbro thread.

He made one post before SOME MOD decided to delete/modify/moderate all of his posts. I'm in no position to make demands here because, who the hell am I? I am simply a member of the community, but you will all be shooting yourselves in the foot if you choose to segregate this man from your forum.

He has worked at REPUTABLE shops, including Stillbuilt Motorsports in Anacortes where I used to work (Stillbuilt Motorsports), he has graduated from EFI tunning classes, and is currently working at U.P. Garage down in Tacoma (UP Garage USA) building RB26s with a precision and attention to detail that the shop owner has never seen before. He is also an engineer for the State Ferry system. Whoever the hell is doing this should get over themselves and knock it the **** off.

Thank you.

I also have installed a few fuel pumps in to a few different high performance vehicles.

Nevermind that I've actually worked with a a few of the fuel pumps being debated and posted an absolute avalanche of fuel pump flow data, cited sources, graphs showing pump flow....

Pretty apparent to me that years of experience and knowledge are meaningless compared to what "The Internet" already "Knows".

Have fun leaning out and blowing your engines!

The situation seems to have fixed itself, or been fixed.

While it is possible that "lag" is the reason why his posts have not shown up until now, or possibly his own stupidity I do not think it should have taken a post he made last night nearly 14 hours to appear, but seeing as the situation has been rectified I would like to thank whoever helped out and look forward to it not happening again.

No. I went back and copy pasted two of the posts again. The originals were not restored

All of the first six or seven posts with lots of good information were lost and I dont have the time to type it again, I have to get going on my RB25 swap

The posts are automatically filtered because his first posts on the forum were filled with hotlinks and links. The spam filter cuts out your posts if they have links in your first few. His posts started to show because they didn't have links. (Looks like the quotes are probably a loophole) Notice how his first post (with no links) showed?

Believe it or not, no one has worked to hold Sam back, I'll just go approve the posts because I haven't been on much and no one else has yet. I hate to have to resort to e-thuggin' capitals here but...

SOME FORUM SOFTWARE moderated the posts. So get over yourself and knock it off. After reading the posts, I can see why one would assume that a moderator with common sense might censor them, however. People skills are severely lacking.

I'd also like to take this time to sincerely apologize for being at work today.

What? You have a life, I was just trying to make sure that this is brought to someone's attention, I even said that it's possible some forum software tagged his threads since he was new to the forum. I appreciate the response and your understanding Adam.

You could always read that Welcome PM everyone gets after registration that says "Yo, if your first post contains links, it'll get held for moderator approval" just like the countless spambot posts we get daily trying to sell you Nokia phones or Viagra.

I think a little human sacrifice is in order. Shimric will do just nicely.
