Besides this MR2 forum, are there other popular website forums that are dedicated to the 91-94 MR2 models?

None in particular are dedicated to that year range, but I assure you that this one is the best. We definitely have better mods and admins than the MR2OC. They ban you for the smallest things over there.

There is another big board as well as a UK based board too, Google is your friend. Use MKII MR2 or SW20 as search terms.

Crap, I was looking for the "werd" smiley, but its not here, so Werd.

That other place (not the UK board) seems to be made of mostly of noobs who strictly follow the words of certain members (sponsors).

Yeah this forum's pretty great, but there's good information to be found on the other forum if you need it. If you were to frequent a few, you'd obviously have the most complete set of resources, but this forum is the most comfortable (IMO). The color scheme is easy on the eyes, we're allowed to have avatars and signatures and the people are pretty pleasant.

This board is great! People here are more helpful and more down to earth. On "the other site" they seem a little stuck up and expect you to know everything rather than ask for help. No need for that, people are much more welcoming here.

They also rely too much on the Search button, apparently they forgot you have to answer questions before you can search them. Otherwise, all you're going to find is "use the search noob" which is of no help at all.

Btw, I didn't mean to revive this thread, just thught I'd show MR2.com some appreciation

I totally agree, just from my limited posting thus far the members here seem more down to earth and eager to help without the unnecessary banter and sarcasm.

Yea, this forum is pretty much top of the mountain. But if you like being on a high horse MR2OC.com could be a place for you. I don't mind answering questions the best I can because plenty of people have answered mine. (mainly CJ and Bak lol)

So, thanks to all the people that make this site what it is

PS not bashing OC. we are all mr2 brothers, I just like the laid back approach here.

I think you need to pay a little visit to the OT.

But back on topic I have had a better experience here than the unnammed other place. In the last 4 years I was advised to use the search once.

+1 - I have been on other automotive boards, the Supra board has alot of attitude and isn't as welcoming as this board if you are not a die hard knowledgeable enthusiast. This is clearly low key and friendly.
