My "view" is to ask you guys to respect others and not insult them when they are doing you no harm with what they do on their own time, with their own money, to their own property.

As an objective view, you really seem to be the one fired up, Baktasht... You keep going on about your point, that's a little off, when what's being talked about in this thread is opinions on what has largely been agreed is annoying.

As I at least have stated, I don't insult people about what they do to their car but I do have an opinion that this thread seemed to want to hear.

But I think I know where you're coming from. I believe I've seen your car, the silver 2 with the stationary headlights? I actually thought from you rlittle sig that you were a 3kGT driver! (no offense, I thought it looked like a 3000GT, I don't know if you like those - nice cars too) My point would be, I KNOW you've had someone, somewhere say something negative about your car. It's only natural and that's the people I think you're so fired up about but I don't think you're directing it the right direction, I don't think it's us in this thread.

I say that because I've been guilty of taking out aggression on a comment or subject I'd heard too many times. For example, I run my gen3 engine on gen2 ECU/electronics and the first thing I usually hear is:

"you can't do that"
"It won't run right"
"Why? what is wrong with you"
"do it the right way"
"won't make power"

And so on and so forth. But the truth is it runs rich, has a slightly funny idle and put down over 300hp (FW) But I'm also very independant and carefree. I literally like something more when others like it less.

No, nobody has said anything about my car so far, and that is not why I am worked up over this. Just tired of seeing people get put down, and insulted when they post their cars up that are a little different. And also every time there's an MR2 on ebay that's out of the norm people find it and post it up just to start making fun of it. Thats why I'm worked up.... And statements like these don't really rub me the right way either. But hey... like I said, I'm not going to change the way anyone thinks.

That comment had to do with stupidity in general, not cars or the way people mod them. Specifically the fact that if you're stupid enough to slap an APC wing that bends your trunk out of shape from downforce rather than give you better grip and go out for "street racing" and die, good.

Do you not think natural selection has been firmly interfered with in recent years? (and I don't just mean the lack of natural selection to kill off stupid/weak humans but also the interference of humans killing EVERYthing around them, nature and habitat)

Does it not anger you to see idiots reproducing and being protected from natural selection/nature's way of protecting the species? Do you realize that we are poisoning ourselves due to the over running of the planet by parasites, I mean, humans?

This opinion of mine is based on:

pregnancy rates
the reason pregnancy occurs, especially in 26 year olds and below
Fact that the average American has a below average IQ and above average weight
simply observing what people do and say
more I'm too tired to think of now...

I don't know about the rest of the qoutes, but mine are taken out of context, they were applied to people outside this community. I HIGHLY doubt someone who owned a car like the blue car would come on a community like this where people accually respect and love their cars. Most people who do that kind of mods to their car don't accually like their car. They probably have the NA, and since it's slow they want to make it look fast, or fly or whatever. It is their choice to do it, but it's my choice to make fun of them. I just don't understand why some people would do things that are blatently ugly to their car just for what, attention from women?

I've asked a lot of guys what possesed them to do the things they did to their car, and it's always about "being different to get attention." That's a lame reason to do anything in my opinion. And if I think that's stupid that's my problem not yours. Don't take it so personal. Yes everyone needs to show a bit more respect, and I do respect people, but is it really respect if deep down inside you're thinking "WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING?"

Other than this thread I've yet to see an instance of someone pulling a car from ebay and posting about it here to ridicule it. Maybe I'll accually look for some examples later, but I doubt there are many instances if any. I hope you aren't just making blanket statements.
