Getting mad about this Show off forum.
Ok well I love the forum, love the pics, but Im not a big fan of some people that go on there and says" man you should do this this this or why''d you make it wingless or somthing? You going to make it faster?Etc..."
It gets kinda annoying because its their own car and they can do whatever they want. Maybe they dont have $$ yet to buy a part that you say you should get or somthing...And do it to your own goddamn car if you have to critisize peoples cars. I juss think there should be some guidlines to the show off forum. |

There's nothing wrong with suggestions, or remarking upon what you like or don't like. We are all entitled to our own opinions, and the owner of the car doesn't have to listen to you if you're being an ***. Having more and more guidelines for forums was how the other board went from great to a bunch of nazi ****s that ruled over every post you made with an iron fist. I say we encourage courtesy, but leave people alone.

I can lean both ways fellas. But, when it comes to other peoples cars I like to tell them about the things that I like about their car. We should have enough respect for other people to be polite. There again, being someone who posts pictures on the internet I should be strong enough to accept suggestions , comments.

as long as you like what you've done, it really doesn't matter what other people don't like on your car. Just remember its your car not theirs.

Its nice to hear good comments about your own car when you post it in the show off area. It does suck to hear the negatives, but thats what comes with online internet forums. As long as they are not being rude, i dont think there can be much done about it.

I personally think that peach blue greenish sandals have very little effect on the equality issues of southern turtle backed squirrel humpers. I mean if the cherry fish gum drop zipper wants to clock speeds from head to chin leave it to the rabi's to deteremine the scale of 1 to 14 especially when considering the feelings of sand dollars off of the coast of nevada

what i was trying to say is.. to each his own.. opinions on open forums are going to run wild like weeds in gardens.. homos in any of the states which allow them to become married.. even though the gentleman who started the post has a good point.. theres no way to stop flamers.. well everyone have an awesome day.. i now must attend the 2 to 10 shift at the chocolate factory..

I think if you can't handle a little negative critisism, you probably shouldn't be posting your car for so many different tastes to look at.
Personally, I haven't seen this be an issue near as much here as on other boards... seems to be working well so far to me?

if the owner cant take criticism and opinons of others, maybe he shouldnt be posting pics in the first place? this is life. not everyone agrees, not everyone thinks your newest mod was a good one. |

If you have ****ty taste in style for your car, you deserve to have critisism. Remember, its your car that is going t ostand outa nd represent us all, and if it sucks, well, thats just bad.

I think a good rule for posting on a forum (this particular topic, or most others) is to post in the same manner that you would speak to the person as if you were face to face with them.

EXACTLY!!!!!!! The MR2 is not a fu*&^ civic/mustang. When I see a crappy one I'm embarrassed for ME. Now, I agree it's your car and your decision but you gotta draw the line. You don't see Ferrari's or Lambo's riding ghetto. Not even the big tymers ghettofy their cars!!! lol! That said, I'm a BIG fan of flat/satin paint jobs. That includes primer. BUT, I'm talking about jobs done cleanly, not the flat black cars you see with overspray on the windows, trim, wheels and lights. Not the ones with "zebra stripes" from being sprayed unevenly/in humidity. My current car has good paint but my previous I sprayed myself. Eggshell flat white and satin black roof. I LOVED the way it came out and didn't give a f*&^ what people thought although I got compliments from 'regular people', you know, the ones that look at flat like there's something wrong with you for liking it. PIC of my past beauty: (miss her) http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg But I think what a lot of us are talking about are: Mr2's with ANY light swaps. ESPECIALLY idiots that put in supra tails, OMG. Veilside bodykits driving without an exhaust of any kind WTF Toyota sticker across windshield squirter lights wheel lights leaving the headlights up when parked or driving during the day carbon fiber LOOK The file I attached is hands down the worst I've ever seen on nearly any car much less that poor MR2... Someone help it... It looks like freddy or an alien is coming out of the front end... |

!) I think I threw up in my mouth a little when I saw that blue car.. 2) whats wrong with mustangs? I own a 2 and and a stang I like em both? I considered myself a import guy for a long time, now I just like cars now regardless of who makes em or where they were made. 3) I agree with 95% of some of the things you pointed out but whats wrong with headlights in daytime? I do it in my daily driver to keep azzholes from jumping in fromt of me doing 30 in a 75mph lane.. |
