Sup guys, new to the forums here, and also new to the MR2 family, dont really know a whole lot, but plan on searching and learning about them.

-Previously i owned a 97' Supra TT(Single) 6Speed. sold it and picked up the MR2...!!

Located in Los Angeles, any local meets to meet new people...??

nick just got the 3vz up and running in my 91. Im so glad to be off the engine stand finally next up is a m90 supercharger so back under the knife she goes

I just registered and was directed to check in on the national board- really want to check in here so this is a re-post:
I met the So-Cal group by chance last fall on PCH as their caravan was going north on the highway, I was going south. Had to pull a U and check out all the MR2s on the side of the road by the beach. This kind of thing doesn't happen enough out here. Anyway, I promised to get involved but it took me a while.
I have a dark grey 1989 SC 5-spd I bought in good shape completly stock (just under 100K on the clock) back in '05. Since have added Eibach springs with Koni yellows, Konig wheels and K&N filter (and various stock fixes).
Is there a recent list of shops/mechanics that understand the AW11 in the Ventura/LA county area? So far I did the suspension changes myself but am avoiding my local Toyota dealership for everything other than stock parts.

Hi, new here with a 91 NA automatic.

Are there any meets in the San Diego area? I'd like to compare cars, and see where the loose wires in my engine bay are supposed to be attached.

I'd like to keep this car stock, and restore it somewhat. I've already found some parts in the Chula Vista junkyards, but I'd like to find someone to do some mechanical work too.

I'm in San Marcos.

There hasn't been a meet in San Diego since last fall. by Paradise point. Though I know there are some guys in temecula who try to meet up once every week or so.

Welcome to the board by the way.
Take some pictures post them and maybe we can shine some light on those wires

Hey thanks, I'm willing to go up to maybe 50/60 miles for a meet. Here is a pic -- I dunno if you can see it, but in the lower right corner there is a ground wire sticking straight up. The other end is grounded to the car.

most of the meets that i actually go to are in long Beach, Irvine, Westminister. Because well most of everyone on the socal board here are from those places... The other board hosts meets down here. I tried hosting something before, epic fail haha. was Palomar/Julian cruise....

You're not talking about the red thing right? but next to it? Alarm system in the back never seen that.
