I'm not from SoCal but that's a nice car Herb. Nice to see older owners around too. What wheels are those and have you thought about doing 94 tails?
Looks great though. ![]() |

Wow, beautiful MR2 Herb. What color is that? Nice wheels, and I hate most after market wheels. Yeah, clear corners for such a light color. Chrome strut bar is nice but I personally prefer the TRD.
Yeah, there's some 50+'er hanging out here. |

I know I older, I have had straight and fast, I now like power and curves, it drives like on rails. Turbo pulled great till a week a go when the Thrust washer let go. Having the motor rebuild, will almost be Nu Herb Last edited by Herb91T; 01-10-2008 at 11:57 PM.. Reason: thanking |

No, this is a 91 Turbo, was steel Mist Gray, only 175 made.
I screwed up on the paint chip, it was small and I mis-judged. It has 3 coats Silver/Blue Pearl with 2 Clear Coats sealer. I am going to go back to Steel Mist Gray next year. Thanks, Herb |

Hey 55mr2,
We are really not that few! Been getting a few emails and some want to set up a meet. How about posting a few Pic's of your car. Looks nice, I'll bet you've done some things also. Hey, have a joke for U. Do you know how to tell all the older people in a crowd? When their cell phone rings.....................they all still have the same ring tone!!!!!!!!!!!! Herb |

Didn't have a chance to do too much as I only had it 2 months before I had to put it away for the winter (being from CA, you may have to look that word up). Want to replace the OEM wheels but want to maintain some level of ride comfort so I'm not sure what size wheels/tires I'll be going with. I like the style of yours but I may need a bit more rubber between my butt and the pavement.
You can go have a look in my Gallery for some better pictures. Cheers. |

Sammy,
Good observation. I have found the vast majority of the MR2 owners are either Starting college, in college or have their bachelor's degree. I feel comfortable with them and am accepted on the basis of what I drive and how I conduct myself. I have not found disrespect, but acceptance. Great bunch of guys and very knowledgeable on the MR2's Herb |
