i don't mind doing the canyons cruise while i'm there. don't worry. i drive pretty slow too. i be right behind you.

hahaha. I would but she just outgrew her car seat. 60lbs. She is tiny. Her mom isn't too keen on the idea, but her dad and I are all for it! We'll see how it pans out. Mark, whenever you want to get together and sit down, just let me know. The website sounds good to me if Angie is up for doing it. It would really help with organization. Lets get this thing planned soon. I have a trip this summer that I need to plan around this! Does anyone volunteer to help trailer my 2 out to Vegas?

Lets do Angeles Crest to Newcombs restaurant.... I'm sure deucegirl knows this place... We can go to the so called "Tree" first. Chill there for a bit (its a big turnout). Its called "The Tree" because when you get there its almost like in the middle of nowhere and all you can see from a distance on the side of the road is 1 big tree.... Then we can head back take another route to newcombs for some snack or something then head back home.

I'll look for a map to post

sure is a nice ride.. Packed with sportbikers on weekends starting at 6:30am to about 2pm.... Its a good ride to cruise on a car. I've seen corvettes cruise up there, s2ksss and uuummm i believe a miata crew as well at one time on different times..

I remember once we were drivin on the mountain w/ the sienna, and we saw a bunch of cars w/ huge intercoolers + broken bumpers... i wonder where that mountain is at

transaxle just went in last night today i gotta hook up everything...
i think i need new shift cables.. on one of em i can see the metal through the black housing.. and shifting still feels a little rough..
so i dont know..

okay guys just caught up....

you know i actually have never really ran Angeles Crest

since i have all these canyons right in santa clarita i hardly ever run outside of the area
plus i have been told that most of Angeles Crest is a burn, cops kick it up there a lot
Then i have also heard of spots up there that are not as well known....

But i am soooo down for a canyon running trip!
I will have to hit up Angeles Crest before then and get familiar with it so i can run it efficiently if and when we run up there together....
