Then i have also heard of spots up there that are not as well known....

But i am soooo down for a canyon running trip!
I will have to hit up Angeles Crest before then and get familiar with it so i can run it efficiently if and when we run up there together....
Yup lots of cops.. Why? if memory serves me right during my riding days, almost every weekend there is one accident and fatalities. Cops are up there to set things straight. The upsetting part is, its bad for the responsible/experienced riders. I guess its really hard to say since even experienced riders takes a spill every now and then....

But yeah... just a cruise through the canyon shouldn't be a problem.

Dorman: Received front brace today.. Question, How many mounting bolts does it suppose to come with? I recieved 2 long ones and 1 short one. I guess I was hoping to get 2 long and 4 short bolts?

The 2 long bolts are the ones where it mounts to the firewall and the other holes on the bar just use the strut nuts. I don't remember a short bolt. hmm.

I'm down for a cruise in the canyons.

And guys, I've found a buyer for Mindy..

I don't even remember how it looked like until you just posted. So yeah that short bolt goes on the driverside hole near the strut nuts and you should have another one from the stock bar and the passenger side should already have the bolt for the stock strut bar + powersteering bracket.

It was the rear strut bar that used the strut nuts. Woops.

^Haha...sounds like a good deal for davis

Glad you got the bar figured out (mixxer and Davis).

I'm sorry to hear mindy will be going. I hope you found here a good home
We'll just have to get you into a hardtop in the future. Maybe once you're done with school you'll be making enough to afford another MKII.

I love Angeles Crest Hwy. I'm totally down for a cruise there. Can we wait thought till I get my car finished? Maybe april???

Couldn't you use the stock harness and just plug it in on the tail light assembly? Thats what I was going to do when I install mine (eventually) and then I guess just extend the wire for the backup light for the center pannel.

your 91 harness won't fit to the 94 harness for the tail light. use your old stock harness on the tail light and replace the new harness on the 94 with it. does that make sense?

You can modify the 91 harness to work with the 94's...at least some did it to my 92 so it should work. I'll show you how to do it...
