Colin, ewwww.
![]() Hey Kelvin! Yeah I let the instructor drive my car. Since he never drove an mr before he didn't push it. He told me that I drove smooth and that the only thing I need to improve on is braking earlier. ![]() |

Yeah...the wingless I've determined can look good but it has to be setup right. It's hard to describe...but I do prefer something to balance everything out.

braking earlier? hhhmmmm thats odd. If anything I thought late braking would be good... I guess its totally different with sportbikes. My buddies and I go at it on late braking when we were at the track since its so hard to pass on straight aways...

Maybe the instructor is trying to tell him to take it easy?
....So, I bought a set of IS300 wheels (17x7.5 offset is +55). Tried it in the front with the 35mm spacer that my brother have. So with that it makes it 20mm offset right? Anyway, That thing is sweet... Flushed perfectly to the fender wells except, I can't do a full turn. The tire is hitting the back wall. Forgot the witdh of the tire but its 45 series.... Oh and without the 35mm spacer, the tire is rubbing on the shock and hitting the sway bar on full turn. I'll put one side on this weekend and take a picture for u guys. |

Looking for someone who might have 17x7 (comes with +50 0ffset). Maybe that will work better. I'd trade a pair of my 17x7.5 for that 17x7's...
I was looking at some pictures here MR2 Owners Club Message Board™ and looks like +10 offset for the rears are perfect which means I'll need to get a 45mm spacer for the rear. Hate putting spacers tho... daym... |

Hey Mixxer...for your 17's your gonna need a 35 or 40 aspect ratio on your tires. I'd go with:
205/40/17 or 205/35/17 in the front 225/40/17 or 225/35/17 in the rear |

Thanks... I just got that from looking at many combinations at mr2oc... However, I was really hoping not to go any lower than 45 series. I guess 17"s are just too big? If it doesn't work out i'll just put the wheels on my other bro's 98 GS300 and make it a little modern. He has one of those big fat chrome ugly ones
