I just bought some TEIN CS w/ EDFC for my Lexus. Buddy of mine has the same set up and I really like the ride. But for the 2 and how much you are working with, have you looked into Silk Roads?

Anyone near San Diego who can help me do a little work to my Mk II MR2? I need to swap out my downpipe, as well as a few minor basic maintenance things. I have no room or tools to do the work myself, and I am not really up on my MR2 maintenance knowledge.

Ji said it...wait a little and get the better ones. You'll be happier in the long run. It's kinda like women (most of the time)...The best ones never put out right away

Have you replaced all the bushings, tierod ends, and endlinks? It's kinda pointless to get sways before your suspension is in good condition.

well...I'd say inspect all your suspension parts. But depending on the miles your car will need (either now or in the near future) new parts. And if you start replacing performance parts without replacing the suspension support system you'll just have to do more work in the new future.

Prothane bushings and twosrus endlinks. Contact Dave at Twosrus for what you'll need.

So i found a picture of a Red MR2 with gunmetal rims. What do you think? I'm probably gonna smoke my corners as well as my tail lights if that makes any difference.

Man i was thinking about asking a small piece of tint at the tint shop and put tint on my corners but didn't get a chance to. Its going to come out way better putting a tint film on top rather than painting it.

What color tint did you want? I'm going back to the shop sometime this week or next. I'll get it for you and mail it if you want. PM me your address.

I test painted the tint on a set of extra clear lights I have and it looks good. Really smooth and a good shade. Plus the tails would be hard to put film over.

So what do you guys think of the wheel color???

Nice... hhhmmm maybe a sheet of 20% (dark) and the 35% (medium). Just enough to cover the front corners and maybe a little extra. it shouldn't be that much.

YODA-man Ji!!!. I'll pickup on the next meet or at the Trot!!!

Were you trying to smoke out the whole tails? its easy to tint the signal part area. That whole glass/plastic piece comes out. If you look closely at the back, it is clamped with tabs and the whole piece comes out. You can tuck the tint in there when you put it back together.

The problem with paint, after a while it will fade and look dull unless I guess if you put clear coat on top to protect it.
