HAHA...I'll show you how it turns out. I should have most of it finished by the lowering meet. We'll see how well it actually works at that point. So far so good!

Thats why you have to change your name to Hardtop Colin! Colin! Hardtops are nice I'd love to get one if I can, but you just can't beat the awesome breeziness of the tops, minus leaks of course.

93 Red MR2 Turbo T-Top Shell, no parts, great for custom building - $1200 (Los Angeles)

Red 1993 Body MR2 T-Top Shell (NO parts)
Beautiful custom leather red and black interior with embroidered MR2 on headrests.
Custom after market wheels, needs tires. (I think 19")

Back window glass & one fog light broken. Needs fresh paint.

This vehicle, when purchased, was a turbo automatic transmission with LOW miles.
It was a project car that went terribly wrong (why there are no parts).
Great for someone wanting to custom build their vehicle.

I am asking $1200, obo.

was actually pointing out potential parts but I think the seller doesn't want to part it out.

Dude...the turbo lid, fenders, fog lights, clear corners, and tail lights are worth almost $1200 . And those are really nice wheels even though they're too big for the car. Would look good on my sister IS though...

Hey Frankie...it's so easy to pull off the firewall carpet. I'll help you do it while you're here if you want. Honestly though I think the biggest change will come from putting the sound deadening where there wasn't any...or in place of tar mat like on the center console, doors, and rear quarter panels.

just got an 91 Turbo T-tops (white) 5 speed last friday. I'm in Fort Irwin, Ca. and the car has a major mechanical issue, but I hope to get it to run the right way sooner than later. Well, at least it runs, badly, but runs. I posted the problem to see if anyone could show me the right direction to fix it. It's a project and would like to make it go as fast as it looks

Welcome to the Board irwin mr2! You'll find all the help you need here.

Mark, when are we going to drop a system into your car? Its all set up for it now!

Mixxer, if you have the extra cash, Mark is right. It would be worth it, part it out and make a couple bucks. The only thing I don't get is the Turbo Automatic. I thought the turbos were all manual.

Welcome aboard Irwin.... I work in Glendora, CA 210 off Lone Hill by Route 66

yeah Ji... unfortunately no extra cash at the moment. I bet Dorman's car is going to ride so quiet and smooth with those sound dampnings...

Nice MK1 Alex!!!

That looks pretty bad @$$. That's probably the meanest looking MKI I've seen.

Thanks Mixxer...that's the hope

I'm not sure Ji. I wanna put a good system in with quality parts so it might take me a few months to save up for everything I want. I'm thinking an Alpine system/amp with pheonix gold speakers from EMS (5 1/4" up front + tweeters and and 4" in the back) and a couple JL audio 6 1/2" subs in the back. I really wanna get a double din Touch screen/Nav unit but I don't know if I wanna spend $800 on a head unit .

It took me almost 6 months to put my system together for the Lexus. Going back and forth with Rockford with designs was the biggest hold up. I wasn't in a rush and it gave me time to shop around for better deals. If you are not in a rush, just look around for good deals. I personally like Rockford a lot. Underrated power and excellent consumer line at reasonable prices. Alpine is good too (my brother is an Alpine Junkie, so his car got 'alpined' out for Christmas two years ago), but their stuff never goes on sale! Anyways, when the time comes to draw up some ideas, I'm sure between you, Colin, Richard, and myself, we'll come up with a sick system for your 2.

Yeah...I'm not in a huge rush. I'll put the stock stuff back in so it works for now and take my time piecing everything together . I'm definitely gonna be asking a lot of audio questions or the next few months though
