Hey everyone...I have a new job interview today! Wish me luck. If all goes well maybe I'll have the funds to finish my White car's V6 swap in the near future

good luck mark!!...
so far i've had four crashes all in the canyon!... most of them when i barely started.. ! too competitive and not taking certain car conditions into mind and boom slid all 4's (FF Cars) into the mountain and rail.. one was just drifting over sped the turn and cut in late so my butt clipped the mountain... umm.. ha ya 19 been driving canyons for almost two years now.. but i use to go everyday when i had my cars running and enough gas money.. i would say i was there 5 - 6 nights a week not counting the times i would just cruise during the day to check the roads.. so ya i've had a lot of run time up there! |

QUOTE:How much are you looking to spend on paint, what color are you painting it (will it be a color change), do you want them to spray the doorjams/engine/frunk/etc., how much of a perfectionist are you, and where do you live? I can try to put you in the right direction.
Well Im not getting it done yet but imma start saving up.And iVe decided to paint it a Lotus Elise Grey & it will be a color change so at Least the doorjams frunk etc need 2 be done except the motor unless i get it painted toward the time of swapping the engine...and im not saying it needs to be flawless but very gd quality...& i live in the Inland Empire(Riverside Temecula Etc.) & yea well i jus wanted an idea about the Maaco job so i went the other day and they either give a 1 year warranty or 5 ($600-$1200)..which i think is trash & i never plan on getting rid of the car so i want it done the right way the first tiMe...... But i have an idea on at least spending $2500+ on it ![]() Thanks... |

ya like i said out in the streets i drive like im suppose to once.. then when i hit the canyon of course scout it first and then run..
i've only been hit once in the rear quarter panel by some lady in a van! but eh she wanted to involve insurance and i had barely got the car so i had not changed it to that one.. 1st crash= 2002 Jetta she met the rail 2nd & 3rd crash= 93 Civic HB mad camber wear down to the wire = wet road did not end well... 4th Drifting 85 toyota pickup over sped the turn and whipped the ass out too late clipped the wall but nothing major! thats it man.. i spend more time on a canyon road than i do on the streets!!.. no LIE!! |

and yet u seem proud of these incidents? Take it to the track and don't involve other bystanders, vehicles or whatever on the public road man.

all these crashes were past midnight and we make sure the roads are clear..
and at night you can spot headlights from a distance and once you see em you slow down... some of us cant afford the track!! and plus i would only go to the track for a drift event not time attack and stuff like that.. and no im not proud of my crashes but i mean theres pretty much my history.. all cars got fixed no one was hurt 5 crashes and no injuries.. but i learned always make sure i check my car before a run.. for treading, oil, and such... |

A bit late but good luck Mark! I hope you got it.
![]() EDIT: As you guys can tell I hate to double post. So I'm in a predicament right now. I'm debating on whether or not to put Mindys sexy chrome shoes on or keep with the grippy ones hmm. The effort to put the Zs back on is like meh, but then she'll look gorgeous. The stockies are just so fun around corners. Argh. Last edited by Davis; 02-12-2009 at 01:59 AM. |
