According to his sig...I'd venture a guess that it's a 91?

My bad...didn't see the sig
![]() That's a good idea...maintenance is always a good first step ![]() Yeah...a 91 will have a ct26. Honestly KW's are pretty much the best coilovers on the market. There's a reason most porsche, ferrari, lambo, bmw, and mercedes owners buy them. I know a few people with g35's and s2k's running them as well as someone with an 08' sti. They're expensive but worth it. I edited my last post about mods. Good choices going with greddy...I think Blitz and HKS are a little better...all the stuff EMS sells though is good quality. Have you though about upgrading your turbo? |

Yeah...it's the C-1 rear...
You really don't need an EMS for the engine until you pass a certain point. A lot of people make ~300 hp without EMS on these motors. Toyota has a tendency (or used to) to over engineer things. An easy way to get more power. New turbo (CT-20b or CT-27) and boost controller will go a long way. Throw on the exhaust and you'll spool faster and the intercooler will allow for more boost. But the stock unit is usually good till around 15 psi from what I've heard. Matt (SW20Tmatt) runs ~15 psi on this stock engine with no issues. Alaine has a CT20b on his turbo and says it completely changes the driving experience. It really depends on what you're looking for as far as power gains and power delivery (peak HP and power curve for torque or HP)... Last edited by Mark_Dorman; 02-15-2009 at 03:50 PM.. |

not hard to find. Lots of vendors out there if you are willing to pony up the $$$ and buy it.

I pretty much live by my local shop Fast auto works in arcadia, they worked on my integra and a bunch of my homies cars. They hook it up pretty fat too, I just need a body shop and a tuner/dyno.

Yeah...your cars kit looks good as is at the moment. I wouldn't touch it for now.
So you said you want 350-400 whp. Just curious...but how old are you and how many 400 hp cars have you driven? That's a lot of power for a street car with a young driver. Plus once you get into that range you're gonna have to invest in a lot more parts and will probably have to do a rebuild (with stronger internals) to safely and reliably make that kind of power. What kind of money do you want to/do you have to spend on the car? |
