Not bad...but building off the wide body is a lot easier. The lines of the stock body are harder to work with. I agree the whale tail is too big

Yeah.. the one you posted is good but I think it would be better if its 3pc like our stock 91's. Wonder if they make those.

Haven't seen one yet. Best I've seen is the MADPSI duck tail that isn't in production...

okay caught up again...

i can't stand lambo doors! altho our cars actually look ok with them, i just can't stand blingy crap...
but glad you figured out the timing issue Frankie!

dude that RX video made me want to cry...i worked as part of a pit crew for about 7 months, i was the Tire Specialist and to see something make it out on the track just to have the wheels fall off hurts me down to my soul!

Mark, i think that the wing is okay, but i still prefer the OEM look....
what are you trying to go for in your wing swap?

also, anyone got any tips for removing super old paper gasket material?
i am having a hell of a time getting all the old intake man gasket off the head. it would be so much easier if the motor were out of the car, its a tight squeeze in there!

There is a chemical forgot what its called that you can spray on it and then it just peels right off.

Google'd: 12 fl oz Gasket Remover Aerosol | Fastenal

maybe theres a cheaper one? I usually try some carb cleaner then try to wipe it out hoping it comes out.

This one is more like it... $5 bucks

^Yeah...that stuff works well. In addition to razors.

I don't think I'm gonna end up switching out the wing. If I do I'd get the duck tail and keep a oem trunk lid with 94 wing for when I got tired of it. I'm gonna keep the whole body stock minus 94+ tails, fogs, 93+ lip, and wheels. I love the way the car looks and don't wanna mess with it much. Plus stock always lasts longer

It's okay Renata...I remember what it was like being a student. It's tough...at least you're not a starving working person ...oh wait...that would be me...

yes of course i am replacing the old gaskets! if you are gonna do something, do it right..
plus the intake man gasket tore so i really have no choice. what's weird is that Toyota gave me a metal gasket to replace the orig, but the orig is made up paper...

Mark that sounds good to me. i love the OEM look of these cars, they are so visually appealing out of the box. but some of the minor mods like what you listed above accent the factory body really well without overkill...

Yeah...Genuine Toyota Parts are about the only thing going on my car. Minus stereo equipment, a Tanabe underbrace, shocks, and wheels.

Not sure why they gave you a metal gasket instead of paper...at least it's better

I just remembered I really want to paint my side moldings. Not so into the black line around my car

Really Mark? i think having the side moldings black makes it not boring, but that's just me. I hate one color.

Hmm Mr. T gave you a metal gasket? Very good.
