Paint shops=$$$ yeah I did it at my dads place, he has allll the tools
I learn a lot from him and he doesn't want me to mess anything up so he tells me to come down. I went to go pick up the lid but my dad is in SD for a week, so it will be one next week! Hopefully it won't look that bad... |

I hurt myself... today. to see if i still feel..
such a cool song lol... So today.............. i dropped my car off at 9am and got it back at 8ish.. O_O The guy fixed my oil pan leak, timing belt, water pump, and a few seals where the timing belt is. Also found out that theres another leak where my turbo hose is, im not sure what its called but its leaking from there. (I actually don't know much about all these parts lol.) I can show u where its at but i cant tell u what its called haha. But yeah, seems like they fixed whatever they fixed correctly. It feels good to have something fixed lol |

yeah.. i replied as soon as I got it
![]() By the way, I did the work on the oil pan myself. I was replacing it and found out that the leak wasn't there but I took it off anyway and put new oil pan gasket and put silicon gasket as well on both sides. Then I noticed that the leak was coming from somewhere behind the crank pulley. Since there it is being covered, i figure its either the crankshaft seals and whatever else is behind it... |

Hey Christian, I found you a green turbo lid eBay Motors: JDM Toyota MR2 SW20 Green Rear Engine Hood Lid Cover (item 140276747053 end time Oct-28-08 19:05:55 PDT).
Considering it's already painted the color you need that a great price |

TRD for the name? I thought everyone would have picked the Tanabe ones because they are thicker and can put much more stress when tracked than the TRD..... interesting....

Partly because you know that TRD is high quality. Also...depending on the rest of his suspension setup the thickest swaybars aren't always the best. I haven't research it that in depthly but I know thicker isn't always best. Oh...and I checked the Tanabe website (Tanabe Racing Development, USA - Chromemoly Stabilizer) and it says the sway bars are 22 mm front and back which would make them smaller anyways than the TRD sways.

yeah i was thinking of the quality/material between the two as well. It was a huge difference from what Chris put 22 vs 27.
