sometimes its a little tricky to get a good reading. Found this the hard way years back then immediately just replaced it and found out that its not a problem afterall. The bad part about buying electronic components is that they are non returnable/refundable.

I hope thats than the case Ren..

It says
G1 and G-: 140-180ohms
G2 and G-: 140-180ohms
NE and G-: 180-220ohms

If it is in that range your dizzy should be ok.

Hey guys I got my camera today! And umm according to the reviews, the video sucks at night and they were right about that haha.

So I took a picture (which also shucks) to show you guys how awesome the camera is and uhh how messy my room is at the moment.

170* angle and penguin!!

It's perfect for autocross hehe.

Masagxr you're talking about the dizzy terminals? yeah i was over that amount by about 90 ohms...
the coil has a spec listed of something like .40-.50ohms and i was over that amount by about .10ohms.
so it looks like my ignition system needs some overhaulin. which after the last few rainstorms i have driven her thru, plus her mileage getting up there and the dizzy leaking where it seals against motor, i guess kinda explains the current state of things...

Ren: my bad.... i was looking at the 3sgte section... and yes for the dizzy terminals.. Its 170-210ohms for the 5sfe dizzy...

Your primary resistance is .10ohms over? how about secondary? It says should be between 10k-14khoms

You just gave me an idea regarding Richard's (jigtrix) car. Maybe his distrubutor is not within spec too.

see attached for the bgb manual if u still need it.

By the way Ren... Thought about this as I was driving to work. Maybe you can make a deal with Christian (Cjung). He has a parts car. Ask him if you can trade with his distributor and ignition coil plus some cash or whatever..

thanks much for that, but i get OEM parts at cost thru a hook i have out here in the valley

with ign system stuff i want to get it new, and i got a card to put it on so f it, charge it up!
so the parts should be in tomorrow, which means i should be able to drive her to the meet on sunday...*crosses fingers*
