Congrats Ren.... Sounds like another meet over by her neck of the wood (Santa Clarita). Would be a good trip cruising down the canyons... What do you guys say?

How did the court thing help other than finding the guy really guilty? Isn't there a time frame that the guy must do to pay or something like since the parents are liable for the car, shouldn't it take from their paychecks or something?

^Yeah seriously. I feel like the people who actually deserve to pay never have to and the people who really don't deserve to be fined (or something similar) are hunted down and have their lives ruined. The justice system is so not fair...
Hey Che...don't you think you should fix some other things on your car before paying over $400 for a 6 in lip on your rims? |

that guy's parents just need to give that guy some beat down and make him work
...^I agree Mark.. Che should fix the more important stuff on his car first than making it all look flashy on the outside and repair those mounting frame for the sway bar. I don't think I could drive my car at all without it. They are there for a purpose. It can cost you more in the long run not fixing that. |

yeah true BUT my rear left rim has a BAD crack 75% of the way around, its a matter of time before it cant hold air, i marked off the cracks with a sharpie and they getting worse and worse everyday.
I have enough money to have ren fix my sway and just barily enough for my new tension rod bushings + JIC coilovers once i get paid next week i hope x_x + you guys can help me put on my JICs and check my car for needs when i get them like next weekend (not this one) I can do most of the wrenching myself if someone supervises but anyone can feel free to help me =] Last edited by Shadow.; 02-24-2009 at 10:09 PM.. Yeah but if im going to spend the money might as well do it right and exactly how I want it. Maybe not a 6 inch lip but yeah haha
new lip + polished barrel + repainted center i think its a pretty good deal, and im saying $450 for ALL 4 RIMS not just the 1 |

There comes a point where just fixing it is a better idea. I'd say fix it so it's solid again and keep the money in your pocket. You don't know how many times I've spend money on my cars then a month later needed to fix something that wasn't wrong at the time. Weight the balance between needs and wants. You're young so you haven't had too much experience with it but saving some of your money really pays off in the long run. It's saving my butt right now...
