Oh wow.. Seems like a very good deal then for what you wanted to do on the rims. I'm assuming you are keeping them then? There isn't really a point of fixing it if you don't think you can sell them for the price you want. That'll be a loosing battle for yah specially with everyone trying to save coz of potential lay offs or what not.
LoL Colin hehehee.... |

hmm iono man, because the other back right has some minor cracking going on too
and i know for a fact just repairing it doesnt make it 100% solid like new, its not as great a few of my buddies have rims from RB motoring and have had the cracks begin to re appear after a while of hard driving. its a not a 100% thing thats why replacing the lip would be right option and if i have to replace 2, might as well do the front 2 also so it will be a cheaper price because i know im going to want to in the future because they are also curbed and scuffed. |

I didn't know it was both...guess at that point it is pretty cost effective to get it done right...plus they'll look pretty sweet. What color are you gonna do the spokes?

Oh no good...I painted some stuff with that vinyl paint and I can't even scratch it off. I did my dash over the past couple days and was very meticulous. I even wet sanded the it and did a second coat. It's pretty durable...the stuff I got. Which brand did you use?

When I did it I pulled the dash...took all the extra stuff off...glued all the foam that was lifting down. Then I did a light wet sand (400 grit) on the rough patches, 303 soak on the dried out parts, then cleaned thoroughly cleaned the whole dash with 70% Isopropanol (Rubbing Alcohol). After that I suspended it so I could paint the whole dash at once and did broad sweeps with the paint from one side to the other. I did about 6 coats in about an hour. then I let it dry. Then I wet sanded. Cleaned and recoated. Then wet sanded cleaned and put back in the car. I'll post pictures tomorrow. I spend like 30 min just looking over every inch of the dash in the sunlight to make sure i didn't miss any spots. Oh...and I used the Dupli-Color Vinyl and Fabric Flat Black paint...
