ohhhhhhhhhhhh right!
i gotta ask my friend whats the name of the kit. but pretty much i used 1000 grit sand paper first, then 1500 grit, then 2000 grit, then 2500 grit... starting from left to right motion with 1000 grit, then up and down with 1500 grit, then left and right with 2000 grit, then up and down with 2500 grit. Make sure you are wet sanding and they're all nice and even. But hey, check this out.. much more info than i can give lol http://www.mr2.com/forums/attention-...il-lights.html |

I was on the freeway and a guy in a 4runner sped by me and moved into my lane. His front tire hit my front fender and shoved it in. The paint cracked...there was also a tiny bit of damage to the molding on the door but it was pretty minor all things considered. I'll take some pictures this afternoon...

Its clearly the 4runners fault as it seems like. I say dont feel sorry for his insurance, get the most quote you can get at a reputable bodyshop, take the $$$ from insurance and get the whole car painted/fix the way you want it. I'd suggest through my brother's friend or if you know someone else that you trust.
good luck Dorman! |

You wanna send me the shops info. The guy wanted to deal outside of insurance so I will probably get a good quote and just ask for the money then fix it when I get my other body parts painted...or the whole car depending on the cost. I really wanna paint my car that white that the new Lexus IS comes in

My brother's friend does it as a hobby. He does not have a business license or any of that sort. You can get a quote at a dealer or something then get the $$$ off that guy. Thats probably the most you can get out of him. If my bro's friend quoted you, he'll most likely give a lower quote than what a dealer would charge.

Is there anyone near San Diego who can help me install my DP? I can even do all the labor if you can help walk me through it and supply the tools/working space.
Oh and it should be quite easy, seeing as how I already have an aftermarket DP and no cats on the car already! Please? |
