She doesn't have to be a car lover. It would actually be worse if she was a car lover. You'll always be broke! haha. She just needs to understand your passion for cars (aka train her early). HAHAHA. j/k

Woooh.. this thread is really active.. 3+ pages since I post last night... Thanks for all the welcome...!!!

Well.. thanks to all the Cali buyers though... cause apparently, the previous owner posted his car up for sale for almost 6 months to 1 yr and no buyer... Then I was on my trip to Vegas and I drove to LA to check out the car and bought it on the spot.

i know it drives me insane its so hard for me to find chicks i can hang out with!

anywhoo on a diff note, once i get the 2 running i am thinking about deleting the power steering, for 2 reasons: i want to start lightening her up, and i never really cared for the disconnected feeling of a p/s system.
what do you guys think about that? i was just gonna bleed the system out, seal up the rack, and remove the pump.
thoughts?

Hum...it's not a bad idea...especially since it won't be you daily driver. I always wanted to underdrive mine to get rid of the slightly disconnected feeling. Honestly the MR2 has a much better power steering setup than most Toyotas. I think that would work since Colin has power steering but it doesn't work . The non-power steering rack might be lighter still but you can wait to swap that out for a bit cause you need different inner tie rod end links for that...

Naw I wouldn't do that Ren. I know I've seen the whole manual rack assembly being sold on the forums for less than $200 + shipping. The power steering rack has a longer turning ratio than the manual rack. If you can find the manual rack, I'll help ya install it.

I work out

Which reminds me, mark, do pull ups work more muscles than chin ups? I'm thinking yes because your arms are outstretched more in comparison to a chin up. But your the pro!
