Need help with audio work

Sup guys. Anyone have a recommendation for a shop where I can get audio work done for relatively cheap. All I'm trying to do is move some 6.5" components and an amp from my truck to my mr2. Best Buy wants like $300. I'm pretty sure the MR2 is even already wired for the amp and I already have my head unit in. I just need to pull the stock stuff back in the truck and upgrade stuff in the mr2. I'm in South Orange County and there aren't very many mom and pop audio shops down here and the ones there are want an arm and a leg. Thx peeps.

No the 6.5" are regular speakers yo. Boston Acoustics Pro Z components speakers. I want to put those in the doors. I have a 2 channel Diamond audio amp but I need a 4 channel. I'm gonna check out circuit city tomorrow to see if they have anything left for cheap. I don't need anything special. So yeah I'd still need a sub. Is the MTX in a box and ready to go?

Hey Visuvius...(forgot your real name ). Where in southern orange county are you?

Hey Christian...there's gonna be no room behind the seat after putting a 10" sub back there.

Colin...I'll give my sister the fog switch.

Announcement

So I'm almost finished with the white car's interior. Finished cleaning the carpets today and will be putting them in along with pretty much everything else tomorrow (minus a working stereo). Only other thing left to do is the power window and door lock swap and the LED's in the cluster . Still flip flopping between red and cool white though .

As many of you know I've been planning to do a V6 swap since I first picked up my red mr2 last summer. Well...I may be picking up a V6 camry with a 3vz (actually running) as a donor car. So the dream may become a reality pretty soon. I did however have a slight kink put in my plans for the actual swap because I broke my collar bone yesterday snowboarding. So I'll be need the auto for a few more weeks cause I can't move my right arm that much. But after that it's on!!!

Hey everyone...I know we've been talking about doing a meet up in BFE for a BBQ and cruise or something...but I have an alternative suggestion for the mean time which will allow us to plan for such an event more thoroughly.

I will be house sitting for some friend who have a house down here in San Clemente! They have a huge yard with a BBQ and Bar setup. They always tell us to throw parties while we watch the place so I figured it was about time I took them up on that offer . I know this is a little further south than most of you Angelenos usually drive but it'd be a more midway point for our San Diego Brothers . We'll have a huge grill and can get everything from Costco in advance and do the same (pitch in $5). It would be a laid back, come hang out, eat, drink, and talk cars. There's tons of street parking and I don't see any problems. I'll be watching their house the weekend of March 28th-29th. I know saturdays don't work for a lot of us cause of work so I'm thinking the 29th would be good but I'm open to a debate on the date (haha that rhymed).

Thoughts people???

Good point...

Do you really have to do the dash harness? I feel like it should just plug and play if you have the relay and window & door lock ecu's.

I PM'd you about it. I ordered a grip of stuff from Aaron but he has to get a lot of it together so it's not shipped out yet. So if you PM me a list of things you need I will order them and have you call him up and pay for it once I'm done

YGPM mark

hmm well u dont have to do the dashharness if ur going to send individual wires for everything, but then u need to figure out which wires is which and where it goes. Well mine didnt have a slot for the relay/pwrwindow ecu. and i see a bunch of missing wires compared to the one i took out.... so yea its ur choice... both way is alot of work
