Does this sound right? Dont think ive ever header of a 'beauty lip' but regardless i marked off all the cracks with a shapie and it doesnt crack anymore at all even after going to GMR, it only cracks if i curb it (which i never have) which leads me to believe its a 'beauty lip' too because there isnt any real stress on it or else it would have cracked more considering its cracked like 75% of the way around on 1 of the rims. |

So what was your solution? Bleed the crap out of the clutch? Must be fun. That takes 2. Who did you have help with?

i dont even know how to bleed it, i was looking at the BGB and couldnt even figure it out. I ****ed up my wrist though because i have beginning stages of carpol tunnel freakin sucksssss ![]() also my jack **** out on me when i was jacking up the car to take out the jack stands a bunch of like oil? or some kind of lubricating fluid shot out of the bottom of the jack and it lost some of its strength and then when i had to jack up the other side tons more shot out. I have a husky jack bought it over a year ago any idea how to fix that without having to buy a whole new jack? |

They need to change the seal on those jack stand then refil the hydrolic fluid... My brother paid $25 once on an old jack way way back... I'll ask him... This was many many years ago... Not sure how he even found the shop.

Jack's can do that Mark... Its being pushed up by hydrolic fluid which is why Che was saying there are some lubricant dripping or something..
Regarding your car... forgot where everything goes? ... Well, one day we should set it up and have a meet at your place and tackle that car. I'd like to see how the new clutch feels ![]() |

yeah let me know if you can mixxer because i dont think i could even jack up my car again nor do i really want to considering it lost alot of the strength and is sketchy. I see why people dont trust jacks tho!
Next step: figure out what in my suspension is making that clunking noise when i turn. Think it has something to do with rolling on cut springs? doubt it. Anyways im going to get my coilovers within the next week or two hopefully. Anyone want to help me slap them on because im a noob =[[ but I dont want to pay like 200 for a shop to do it. Whoever helps me ill owe you like 5 favors =] |

Maybe your shocks/struts are bad just like how we found out on Dorman's car. Not sure if you remember that one. Some guy sold Dorman a bad set of shocks/struts. At least one of them.... So yeah, figure out which side so you dont have to take every single one off.
Dorman: Regarding those shocks, I was reading that KYB has lifetime warranty. Maybe you can have it replaced somehow? Not sure how you are going to tho. Maybe you still need to show some type of reciept. If you know someone with KYB's maybe that person can swap it out for you. |
