Piece of advice on those jacks. Don't overturn it counter clock wise all the way, thats how the fluid will escape and take the seal out of place. When the jack is up and you turn it counterclockwise and see it go down, thats all it needs...

Thanks Mixxer...maybe Ji can help me out with that. At this point though i'd probably just turn around and sell them if KYB replaced them. No point in putting them on since the fronts won't match. Having stiffer shocks in the rear will just make things less fun . I really just need to get some Konis.

I know the hydraulic unit on the jack can blow out...I've just never actually met someone who's had it happen to them . Bummer Che...

Mixxer makes a good point about the shocks possibly being bad. I'd have to drive your car to tell you if it were the same issue though. If it's something else then the coilovers won't fix the issue

Shouldnt be anything to expensive though right? considering the most expensive piece is the shock/springs, unless that just some noob misconception

Previous owner said it was tension rod bushings but I dont feel like replacing them if that might not even be the problem thats why im just getting coilovers first to see what happens

Still really need someone to help me slap them on. I'll smoke you out, buy food + owe like 5 favors whatever doesn't really matter just want the experience of doing it myself and not paying a shop to do my dirty work.

You know i'm thinking its because of not having sway bars under there. Its there for a purpose which for one, it stabilize the front.

...can I come and watch? I think that be pretty funny!

Hey Che, it's not gonna be your tension rod bushings. The tension rods shouldn't be under much stress while turning anyways. We'd have to Jack the car up to really see what's going on under there...

its comming from my rear for sure though. Im thinking maybe something to do with my axels because it sounds like whenever my tire rotates to a certain point it clunks but it could just be coincidence.

when i was under the car checking things out i didnt notice anything out of the orderinary but i think im going to check it out again because i wasnt looking to closely at the suspension. Just my exhaust and things and how bolts are welded/stripping on the cat/bpipe and thats why my exhaust rattles cant even tighten it

mixxer by rent out your tools do you mean bring your food and you supervise me to make sure i dont do anything 2 dumb

our MR2's are inserts... I think most hondas are the whole thing. Didn't know Ji has a hookup. If he can get them for under $220 for GR2's thats a pretty good deal.

$$$ works for me. I'm on a diet LoL....

From the rear hhhmmmmm How are your axle boots? If they are torn, well, is it dry (no grease). Maybe your axles are now bad. That could definitely be it.

You lucked out... I guess its a good thing I didn't throw those shocks/struts away for yah. I pulled it out of the trash and put it inside the garage .... To think of it, maybe I should have kept your n/a brake calipers? Oh well... too late for that i guess.

I'm not a big fan of the Border kit...or those wheels. But it looked well kept. I'm also not a big fan of two tone MR2's. Reminds me of 240sx's.

Hey Che...do you have a LSD? Might be something inside the diff causing the problem. Again...I'd have to hear it to know. Didn't Mixxer say $100 for the Job. Maybe he'll let you rent the tools for $50???

Thanks for Grabbing those mixxer. Eh...the NA brakes aren't worth anything. If I was thinking about it I would've grabbed the old rotors since they were in good shape but oh well.

Dang Davis...still cutting?

So I'm going to look at a 92 V6 (3VZ) camry tomorrow morning. If it checks out and I can get it for under $600 the swap will be going down before summer
