Damn Colin, I wish I could make it. I'm taking care of my neice. Sorry. I'll try to take some pictures tonight when you can really see them. The LED's look good, but doesn't match the HID's too well because I have the pure white HID and the cool white (bluish tint) LED in the side markers. Its a definite improvement over the orange.

Ohhh maybe I can make it then Colin.

Well there I go again....spending more money on Mindy. Bought a set of inner and outer tie rod ends + rubber boot for my manual rack yay!, brass bushings for the shifter base, and that cool non smoking cigarette lighter replacement thingy. (I've been wanting one forever so don't blame me! )

Pics Ji pics!

Mixxer, my shifting has been superb as of late. Tightning that stuff really did the trick!

My cars paint is so bad, 4 different shades of red and black and I still took some time today to wash, clay and wax most of it. I guess I love my car a little bit

Mark, I removed the toyota symbol in the rear. It's fitted differently than the front. I got most of the crap off but I won't go the distance to get the rest of it off... too much work!

so Colin do i count as too much of a girl to invite myself to your bday dinner?

oh and so the update on the 2:
got the timing issues worked out but still couldn't get her to idle below 1500 and she is still throwing code #51. i cleared it twice and it came back each time. so i checked the wiring and the connector that goes to the TPS and i found that there is no continuity to ground from one of the pins on the connector. wiring is good, but connector is bad
if its not one thing its another i SWEAR! but i have learned to laugh about it as i have the volvo to get me by in the meantime.
so gonna order the connector tomorrow and once i get it i will go back in for round 10 or whatever i am on now.....

It's been rough on ya Ren but you've done a good job.

Glad to hear you're doing better Davis . Sounds like Mindy is getting spoiled these days

Hey Colin, I really wanna see your car painted. It's gonna look so good!!!

Hey Che, why are you so set on coilovers? The TRD springs and some good dampeners (Konis) are great and will cost you less leaving funds for other things. It's totally up to you but at this point your two seems like it could use money elsewhere...

Those bolts still turn tho so only time will tell and they'll get loose again. We really need to take the center console off and tighten those bolts right so it does not turn or you can always come over and we'll keep trying to impact it

i never read what I type

So driving home I thought it would be fun to pass a semi on the right side of it while the lane was ending (didn't know it was). Once I got to the furtherest left lane, I saw that it was going to end in a very short period, so I gunned it thinking I might be able to beat the semi. I was wrong, I quickly decided that I had no chance in hell of making it because the lane was ending REALLY QUICK. I hit my brakes and they locked as I slid on the gravel and slammed into the cement barricade I was only doing about OH ABOUT 50-55mph when I hit it...........................

I hopped out to go and see all the mayhem and destruction that I had just done. What did I see? Well, nothing. I pulled off the 210 into the nearest exit and parked in a well lit parking lot. THE CARS BODY WASN'T EVEN TOUCHED! The car drove straight as well. The only damage that I can tell so far is the rim has bad road rash, chipping a section off it. All in all, not bad. Proof there is a god and giving me my bday present early. The End.

Ren, your more than welcome to come. If anyone can hang with the guys, you can! It's kinda a far drive, but maybe you can carpool with us or something...

So if someone knows where I can get a stock front wheel, lemme know please. I would love to see if I could get one by the end of the week...

I picked up some new rims today. The blitz are going up for sale tomorrow without tires, ~700 a fair price?

Well ive pretty much fixed everything and the car is running great. Only thing i NEED to do is get that front sway bar welded and bolted up and I got the cash for that, just waiting to see if ren wants to really do it. I got a fat check in the mail so its allowing me to do MORE than planned.

As of right now within the next week or so (and i do have cash for):
Got new rims today
JIC Coilovers from a buddy
Boost controller
Berks DP
and
Berks Exhaust
OR
Apexi EL2 Gauge set.

I love getting those super late paychecks where they have to pay a few hundred bonus for being so late

Just throwing it out there. If you save on the suspension a little you could always get a new turbo or something. Or have money in reserve incase something happens. Have fun putting on the Down Pipe...Ji said it was a blast

Oh yes ive taken a look at the downpipe looks hella fun

and i want some good coilovers because i go to the canyons a lot and want to try some AutoX. Plus im an irresponsible 17 year old and think im a pro drifter and i dont want my suspensions being the reason i crash

You crack me up Che. The Coilovers will just put you in a different class in auto-x but I will admit they are usually better than a spring/dampener setup. If you're getting used ones make sure they're not leaking or anything.

Not to burst your bubble...but if you crash in the canyons you couldn't blame it on the suspension anyways...it may help raise the limits of your car but the only way to really control it is to do the auto-x a lot like you were thinking. Although Turbos aren't really the best cars to auto-x in . Maybe you should just do regular track days...

I remember what is was like being 17. I really am trying to help you when I say keep a little spare cash for when you might really need it...i know it's near impossible to do when you're that age (I have trouble doing it now). But if I could go back I would've saved a lot more of my money and made my life a lot easier...
