Marco's in Alhambra told me it could be $4,500 to as much as $20k!

Thanks.
I have a friend who does prep work off his own garage then rents a boot to shoot the car. Very detailed guy... Let me know if you need his number or i'll PM you his Myspace page and you can see some of his work on his blog.

Daym, where is this guy at? What's a decent job? That sure is cheap. Colin should probably do this in the meantime.... Heck, I might even do it myself for that price.

Hahaha... catching up and just saw this.... I probably would too.. Daym time to buy more tools to speed up the process. Some orbital sander maybe. It'll be a b!tch to do the whole car by hand hahahahah

Man...just finished catching up.

Colin...babysitting...really? Well...Ren can baby sit me any day
The Dibs line cracked me up though.

What's up SF-Jim! Welcome to the board. I may have seen you driving around before. I frequent the Lake Forest area from time to time and have seen a couple Red MR2's.

Dang Deny...that's a cheap paint job. I might do it for the hell of it . Can't mess up the white car more than it is

Sure. I'll post his myspace page again. Too bad i'm not buddy-buddy with him. He is my brother's friend but they aren't that close either. Everytime I PM him on myspace I bring up a little something like "i'm willing to help with tha labor just to learn" but he doesn't really comment on it so I take it he rather do the work himself.... Its all good since I know he's going to do it right.

Depends on the work... Its not one of those flat rate like what Maaco or Earl Shieb. He's a reasonable guy. I'd pay him as much as $2K for the work I want if and when I decide to put on those kit I have with the flares.
