What exactly are you looking for? You're young but you dont look like it which I think a plus on your side. Have you tried Costco? I hear they make good $$$ for what they do.

Sorry to hear that Alex. What criteria didn't you meet? I agree with mixxer...they shouldn't have set up an interview in that case. Getting a job right now is tough so no matter what it's gonna be a lot of work. Have you tried little companies and shops? Do you speak spanish???

Yeah Mixxer...I'll worry about wheels after I get the swap done

Naw it's just jiffylube, I don't think they care really. All you'll be doing is changing oil and air filters (and at the same time unplug a pcv line that you were unaware of and the CEL will come on. ).

o0o0 ya davis forgot to ask you.
i changed the brakes on my gf's camry yesterday and as soon as you unbolt the tire the rotor has free play in between the caliper
is it suppose to be like that for a 97 camry.
shes had the car for a while and its always been driving fine.
but still kind of worries me a bit if its not suppose to be like that

Alex are you kidding? Thought you know this by now since you are pretty mechanically inclined...

Its fine.. Most cars are like that... The rotor is not really bolted fixed. Same with our mr2.. What holds them together is the caliper & caliper bracket and when you mount on the wheels to the hub/lugs

Oh man, I wish every rotor was wobbly when I'm doing brakes, having them rusted on sucks! Mr. Rubber mallet doesn't really take them off really well. SO yeah, when you bolt the wheels back up it should be a okay.

Dammit, Mixxer already posted and he explained it way better than me.

Those didn't have play because sometimes its mounted too long and kinda stick pretty firm on the hub. If you hit it with a rubber mallet it should pretty much move easy.... Also, some rotors sure are held with the axle bolt so thats probably the case on those old cars or even ur jetta.

You posted way more technical stuff than your question about the brakes like you pulling of the head, etc... so I thought you would know about the brakes no problem
