The bar fits perfect...it's just that the thickness of the reinforcement bracket, the sway bar bracket and the bolts length doesn't work well together! I can remove the reinforcement bracket and mount it that way, but I'm scared the sway bar is going to rip the bolts right out when I'm cornering hard.

Damn Davis, I'm glad you got it in. Sorry to hear you had so much trouble with it. Mixxer is right, whenever you get flustered, take a break, a few deep breathes, and start again. Keep us posted on your progress.
Okay, here are the pictures of the side markers I promised: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm thinking about changing out the HIDs (again) for the headlights and foglights and go with a different color so that everything will match up a little better. The HIDs are pure white with no bluish tint, but the LEDs definitely ahve some blue. Visavis, the amp Mark has is a good one if you are looking for a monoblock. If you are planning on getting a 4channel, I would recommend a Rockford Power (not punch). They are underrated and can push out some serious power. |

Vis wants a 4 channel amp.
Matt hit me up for HIN. Anyone else interested? Mixxer, are you coming out sunday? maybe?? My friend who doesn't know much about cars, saw a guy with a 2 and talked to him telling him about me and my 92 mr2 (doh!) He had a 91 HT turbo that was black. My friend told him to jump on the forums (good job Gary!) but he declined because he rolls with a Hollywood mr2 car club with 20 members. Lame. Thanks for the well wishes all! |

So my grandparents told me that while I was at school, the manager came by and was pissed off about my car being in the back and wants it out as soon as possible. So this morning I decided to throw the stock sway back on with the reinforcement bracket and h&t endlinks. Got everything bolted back up and just about done torquing the wheels. The manager comes out of nowhere and starts yelling at me even though I kept saying it's done and this was at 10am guys. ****ing ********!! I haven't drove the car around yet, but I hope everything is fine and dandy...![]() |

Yeah what an asshat. She was afraid I might get oil all over the ground and even when I parked my car on the street she was still complaining of dirt on the ground. COME ON NOW WTF. REALLY? REALLY? really really? God, I hate this place.

That's sucks Christian...oh well...at least you have them for the future.
Dang Davis...you are way nicer than me. I would have tore into her and brought out the tenant laws. But then again I'm not one for respecting unearned authority...especially when they're rude. I would seriously look up tenant laws and look over the lease agreement to see if she can even say anything. I'm fortunate enough to have stoner property managers so they're almost never anal about anything :lol Edit*** Hey guys...what do you think about running 215/50/16's up front and 245/50/16's out back? ok guys i need suggestions on fixing up the dash i have.
there are 2 suggestions so far. 1) Take out the whole vinyl and glue it onto another dash 2) Repair the broken plastic piece by cutting another dash glue it onto the one im repairing. This is how bad it looks like: ![]() |

Gluing another part of a platic dash won't hold on that strong unless you want to rivet/stitch it on with some zip ties. I would go with pulling the pad off one and putting it on another...
Thanks for the Vote Ji! I think I need some 5mm spacers to fit the 215's on the front well... Will I need new wheel studs if I use 5mm spacers? Last edited by Mark_Dorman; 03-11-2009 at 05:32 PM.. |
