Hey Tin,
Even if them have more miles on them springs are one of those things that don't ware out that easily. Look how long some people have been running their TRD springs . I think it's a good pickup for the most part...I've seen a bunch of posts about it thought that other people have been trying to pick them up so I'd move on them fast. Didn't realize these were so expensive...I got mine for $225 shipped brand new

What kind of Coilovers are you gonna get Ren??? I'm gonna go that route eventually but not till I can save up for the ones I want...KW V3 . Currently I don't have a spare $2000 to dump on them so that's why I went with the TRD setup for now. Makes me happy till I can have what I really want...

Yeah Deni... Check the timing... Inspect your cap/rotor and the wires for continuity. Also check if u do have CEL. It could be many things even a bad catalytic converter. ...

comment on fender roller:..... so I had a customer last night (2000 Toyota Avalon). I lowered his car and oh-uh.. the rear is touching the fender... He was lucky enough that I got the fender roller tool. It was a little frustrating to use it at first since i've only watch videos. Nothing beats actually doing it for the first time and learn from it... It turned out awesome and the guy was very happy and relived. I was going to charge him more for putting those old springs back hahahahaha.... Anyway, really need a lot of patience rolling the fender. The paint cracked a little on a couple of areas but I knew that was going to happen and told that guy if he is cool with it prior to doing the work. He knew it was going to happen too. Hey, better than changing a $200+ tires right? So I just told him to get some touch up paint to prevent the paint from spreading to peel... Oh yeah, I did use a heat gun...

I'll practice on my MR2 this weekend just for the heck of it and see how that goes.

So did you make more money then? Deni, I get the same mileage and davis does as well. I started to read around and heard that sometimes it's the O2 sensor even though it doesn't throw a code. I haven't replaced mine because they are 100+ dollars

Might be worth getting a new one Colin. If that's the problem then 100 more miles a tank (like I get ) would pay of pretty quickly...

That's awesome Mixxer...I might have to pay you to do mine at one point depending on what size tires I run...

I made ok... Was my first time doing it to the guy so I kinda hooked him up. Besides, he needs to buy other stuff so he needed the $$$ more than I do. He needs to buy longer studs coz the bolt aren't really grabbing a lot of the stud thread and I advised him that if it was my car I wouldn't drive it like that.... Way to build a relationship for him to come back .... He's going to buy studs and I'll replace it for him for a fee. Shops charges $45 to replace 1 stud .... He'll definitely come back for sure.

Colin: So i take it changing correcting the timing didn't help eh? Last time you got a smog did the car passed right away? I guess just get the O2 sensor when u get a chance and we'll put em on.

No problem... You might want to roll the fenders anyway no? I suggest do it before painting the car as well. I know you have plans to paint her eventually.

Yeah...I agree, it's a good idea no matter what. I'll probably want to run bigger at one point anyways . Definitely before I paint her

Speaking of paint, I'll paint mines after I'm finished with her suspension. Almost done too, just need to figure out the sway bar issue, new polyurethane bushings, perfect autox/rallyx wheels offset wise, and something a little extra for the body.

It's a secret! Well not really, I talk to you guys about it from time to time. I just need to save up some money for it and the labor to put it on.

Don't know much about them since I haven't had any problem with mine. Just swap out from Christian's car in the meantime.

I remember them now.. Those are just inserts tho. I think you'll still hear that squeeky sound. If the rubber bushings are bad they need to be replaced.
