my bearing was bad. whenever the car would shift you could hear the wheel hit the top or bottom or whatever way it was wiggling. that job sucked since I didnt have a press, I had to use a BFH and a block of wood to put the new bearing in.
Speaking of BFH's mixxer did I leave mine at your place? |

Soo....I got to do some false valve guides and false valve seats at school today. Fun stuff.
![]() An image I found on google, that's the machine cutting the valve seat to a bigger diameter. When a valve seat is worn, you cut it oversized and you'll then get a valve seat insert and bang it in the oversized bore with a BFH just like what Matt has mentioned above. And yay! new valve seats. ![]() |

Oh, next time you do a bearing take it to a shop. Last time I did it years ago it only cost me $10-20 bucks. They pulled it out and pressed the new one i brought in like literally a minute. |

Hey Christian, sorry dude, I can't get you a discount.
But it's around $190ish for a defroster one. That's about the same discount you'll get from Aaron. Hey Mark, I want my toblerones! ![]() |

Talk to Ren...her hook up is pretty good from what she said.
Hey Davis...you just need to remind me next time i see you. I'll put them in my car so I won't forget them. I need to get the other front trim piece from Colin still. I only have one side of the trim in front of the lights (unless he gave it to me and I misplaced it. If that's the case I'll just have to look through my boxes. I'll check with him though. Hey Christian...Yeah...it actually just came yesterday. I opened the box last night (it was like Christmas!!!). Got my fender liners, weather stripping, brake bolt (the one we had to cut ), transmission and clutch parts . I have your two clips though and will help you with the dash whenever you want. Maybe you Davis and I can get together and swap out the harnesses, power windows, and locks. I have to replace the my drivers side window cause there is a big chip/scratch in it . Then I can tint it out .Hey...help me out here ![]() http://www.mr2.com/forums/mk-2-mr2-s...coilovers.html |

Nice!!
I think i will be able to pick it up either 2morrow or friday. but yea i need them asap HOpefully we can finish all the swap in like a day. Or we can do it in 3 days (one day take your car apart, 2nd day take apart davis car and swap the harnesses and all, and 3rd day put your car back together) But i spoke w/ davis long time ago and he said he going to take out the a/c and all that. If he does it before u guys swap davis part is going to be a breeze. btw do u have a open pad or garage to lay all your stuff? it kinda gets confusing after taking out all the nuts and bolts. apart from work days im basicly free for like 1 and 1/2 week thanx to spring break so hopefully u can help me during that time period. |

What are the dates of your spring break? I should be decently free. I have a car port but my red car is still in it with the clutch and ignition issue.
Why would davis taking out the AC make it easier. I can pretty much take apart everything behind the dash. My climate control and stereo are still out of the car along with my glove box and some under dash panels. We'll just have to get Davis to leave us his car on a fri-sat since he works. I'll have to grab my power doors and stuff from my house in Pasadena but it shouldn't be that hard to get it all done in a couple days. And we can finish yours up pretty fast i'm sure... |

Looks good.. I wonder if they are staggered... Did I tell you I bought a set? It sucks tho coz I need a freakin' 35mm spacers in front. It looks good as it is flush to the fender just like your wheels Ji...
