so... i told mark i was going to finish my car today. but i didnt.... T-T
but i got alot of stuff done. Dash went in, installed my climate control, gauge cluster w/ leds, everything around it, wired up my amp neatly, and installed clip that hold the relay. basicly i just need to work on my car 2morrow for the seats, steering wheel, and small parts here and there. maybe 2 good hrs and i will be done. yaya btw mark, it wasnt the relay, u just didnt connect enough wires for the window to work... every relay worked when i connected everything.... stole those relays for nothing... wat am i going to do w/ 8 spares? hahaha davis u shoulda just gotten bucket seats hahaha |

Oh yeah I replaced my o2 sensor on saturday. I thought it was going to be a pain, but it went smoothly.
I was expecting the studs to strip. So far so good, my car performs a bit better. we'll see how the mpg is.I really need to replace my dizzy seal, I looked at Mindy from the bottom and omg is she wet. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Last week when it was hot, the glue under the molding/weatherstripping around the front windshield on my 2 loosened up and the molding worked itself out. It is now loose along the top of the windshield and one of the corners. I'm calling places right now and they are telling me I have to replace the whole windshield?
One guy said it might be repairable but he would have to see it. The glue is a bitch to get off and it sucks because the molding with ridiculously sticky glue got all over the paint above the windshield. Anyhow has anyone had this problem and did you have to replace the whole windshield or was the molding repairable? I thought it was going to be as easy as gluing it down again but I guess not. |

^The molding goes around the windshields edge so fixing it won't be easy. You should use a heat gun to clean up the glue stuff...
Wow Davis... you crack me up.Yeah...I hope Ren got her car running . I still think she would have posted if she did...Guess Che couldn't handle the MR ![]() Or maybe his parents are making him sell it? And since when does he have a 3rd gen 3sgte??? Hey Christian...I'm gonna need a relay for mine...so save me one ![]() Hey Mixxer...if you want you can get all new seat cushions...or just redo the foam. Ji and I will help ![]() |

Hey Hamid.... The windshield does not have to be replaced but they may require to take it off to clean the old adhesive. then clean the windshield edges and slap them back on. It still should not cost much since getting a new/used windshield replace cost about $100..... Also, did rolling the fender more helped? Is it still rubbing?
Thanks Dorman... Any link for the new cushions? Are they already formed or one of those things that I still have to form them? Anyhow, I'm trying to email this one guy about his seats. He has the same ones as Colins ... Hope I get a good deal. |

Right? I didn't know it was a 3rd gen, then again I never took a look at his engine bay.

The rolling did help but unfortunately only a little bit. It definitely still rubs occassionally on that drivers side. |

Wow... we rolled that really flat already and nothing else to roll.. hhhmmmm
Not sure if you saw Colin's post a while back on this chat thread but he is/was in the market of replacing his windshield. The lowest quote he got is $120. Again obviously not OEM windshield but thats taking off the old one and putting a new one back in.... I understand what they are trying to say that the windshield might crack when they take it off hhmmmm I know its difficult in your area there as everyone charges way too much.. |
