3rd gen is a completely different motor. Different head design, cams, and turbo (ct20b). I know there's more but I can't remember the specifics off the top of my head. I think I remember seeing a ct26 in his engine bay...

If anyone's interested...
1991 Toyota MR2
_______________

White 1991 Toyota MR2 non-turbo

Working AC
Power door locks
Moon roof
Custom headlights
Spoiler
Alarm
Single compact disc & AM/FM stereo

Car is in great condition and runs rough and fast
Clean vehicle title, no accidents
Air bags for both driver and passenger
Good original paint and no dents
4 cylinder engine
Engine size is 2.2L
Rear Wheel Drive
Transmission is manual 5-spd
254xxx miles

This car is regularly serviced (because I choose to) and I have replaced (all within the last month):
Alternator
Recharged the battery
New belts (engine, timing, AC)
New headlights
New spark plugs
Oil change and new filters (oil & air)

I am selling this car at $2300. I really value this rare coupe (they are limited) and I would prefer to hand it over in its best condition. The car can be seen and bought on the same day (pink slip is ready). I will also include a smog check on the same day. All you need to do is pay for the car and you can drive it off. I will be accepting only cash.

I am willing to meet up with anyone interested to take a look at the car. You can email me and we can further discuss and or negotiate. I prefer that we discuss and negotiate before we meet so that we don't waste time.

The KBB value of my car is worth $2680-$2330 on the market.

Yeah I emailed that guy too.. Trying to make him a cash offer for the seats plus trade my old ones hehehehee... We'll see what happens. I think he can still sell for his asking price plus just made $$$ from my cash offer for the seats.... I'm thinking that it is a 91 and just replaced the seats.

Maybe it was an option? Oh well, either he doesn't know what he's talking about or the Title has been modified to say 1991. #4 if 4 keys away from #1 on the keyboard so i can't by a typo hehehehe

I guess...someone must have gone to a lot of trouble for all that. That's a good deal for the car though...

Well, almost just the same work when you wrap your dash right? I'm sure is nothing compared to what Christian has done many times on his 2

Mmm nice seats and yeah I think it's a 91. And if only those 240 wheels came staggered.

Yeah...the rest of the body is 91 style. The paint looks more like the 93+ also. But you're right. A lot of people change stuff like that now...

Those are 240 wheels. 16x7 all around.

The spokes are thinner than the 93s.
