Hey if anyone is interested in a '92 ES300 5spd (3vz with 118k miles) check it out: 5spd ES300 $5000 - Club Lexus Forums
Car is in NY, but good candidate for swap (motor, trans, and ecu!) and part out the rest. |

^Its good but would be a shame to part a clean car.. Theres quite a few on craigslist going for under $1500. i was chatting with Davis about them last night and showed him a few links.

Yeah but a $5K car on club lexus to part out? Thats going to be hard. The $800 lexus that Davis is getting is pretty clean as well. Plus, that guy is throwing in like a year 2000+ set of wheels with tires. $800 vs $5000 hhhmmmm
![]() i wouldn't part out a good $5K ES tho. I'll probably just drive it as it stands. |

Happy Birthday!
Hey Joe...I found out my sister is coming down this weekend to visit. So a trip to SD isn't really feasible. You're more than welcome to come up to my place and BBQ and work on cars. Davis is gonna bring down the ES300 parts car that day. I'm gonna try and get Matt up there to work on the cars too. I'm up in San Clemente though. If you can't make it up maybe I can make it down there next weekend... |

Got yelled at at work.
To much overtime. Good news though, all that overtime is going to pay for the ES! Happy Birthday Mr. Asian! Ji, your crazy man! ![]() |

Here's some pics of the clip. Mark I couldn't get your turbo lid since he delivered it. I asked him a price for one though and he replied after a 5 second pause 'I don't know!?' but I will probably be hitting him up for more parts, so I will try to get you one!
![]() The pics kinda make it look crappier than it is. It's decent. I didn't notice the holes for the licence plate but that will be gone when the paint job happens...![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() What is that red nob with the arrow on it? Is it for adjusting the headlights?? ![]() |

Whats up guys & gals?
I'm putting this out there, just in case anyone can help me. I'm currently having some issues with boost (it builds very slowly, finally hitting 15PSI by like 6500RPM), and I have tracked it down to one of two things. Its most probably due to the WG flap being interfered with by the DP I had installed months ago, since all this happened right after that part was introduced into the equation. ANYWAY, to remedy this issue I have bought a Berk v2.0 down pipe, and am currently sitting on it since I cant install it my self. I currently have neither the tools nor the space to do this! So, basically, what I need is for some kind soul to help me out here. If you have a little spare time (only a coupe of hours at most), a place to work, and the basic tools (jack, jack-stands, & ratchet set) I would GREATLY appreciate the help in swapping out my down pipes! Now, please keep in mind that I already have an aftermarket exhaust and DP on the car, so there are no cats or super rusty bolts to deal with. Hence the job shouldn't take more then an hour for anyone who is familiar with the job. it should actually be a piece of cake for someone like that... I've tried calling around and all the local shots want close to (if not more then) $200 to do the job! I don't have that kind of cash right now, plus can we say RAPE? So how be it? Can one of you kind people help a brother in need out? I would be more then willing to supply beer/liquor/soda, and buy you food and/or pay some cash for your well spent time, so don't think I'm asking for a freebie! Please, if you can do this, let me know. I am in San Diego, but am willing to drive almost anywhere within reason to get this done. Not being able to boost in my car is driving me f-ing NUTS! Also, I have a set of brand new (never mounted), OEM 93+ MR2 turbo front rotors and a 3" SSAC (not the one which is giving me trouble, this one is sitting in my garage right now) DP for trade... if you want/need those in exchange for the work. Please PM me, reply here, and/or email me at boostard@gmail.com if you can help me out! Thanks in advance, -Joe |
