Tin.... By the way, you might want to replace those 3 bolts by the crossmember where the engine mount is. 2 of them is very rusty. Next time you torque that thing I think it'll break.

$150 sounds like a pretty good price. I could order the dynomat from Amazon. I don't really care about the down time since the MR2 is a third car and not needed on a daily basis. Even if it took two weeks, I'd be fine with it. Let me know what your schedule looks like. I need to get some mechanical work done first though. My biggest concern right now is the radiator. Mishimoto, Koyo, and PWR Racing all make radiators, but it's for a manual transmission MR2. I have an automatic. I'd really prefer to get an aluminum radiator, but I just can't seem to find one. If anyone knows where I can get an aftermarket radiator for an automatic 94 MR2, please let me know. Thanks. |

I didn't know there was a difference between the automatic and manual radiators. I know the Mishimoto ones gets good reviews though.
The sound barrier/blocker material can't be purchased through the company online. I know of a shop that uses it and i can probably get a good quote from them. My schedule is usually pretty flexible so just let me know when you wanna get it done. |

Davis.. Check those bolts for Tin... Remember I showed you those rusty bolts? The 3 bolts that holds the engine mount on the crossmember.

can i get anyone to look at the pics on this thread?
http://www.mr2.com/forums/na-5s-fe-3...head-leak.html i noticed that my engine looks similar. i know my cam gear seals are leaking as i have oil coming from under the timing cover, but i can't figure out why there is oil under the head all over the block. if the gasket was leaking wouldn't i have milkshake or white smoke? |

Yeah but that's not uncommon...I've never seen Tin under a car before. He always walks away pretty clean.
Hey Ren...I think we should do a compression check like everyone's been suggesting... |
