Tin.... By the way, you might want to replace those 3 bolts by the crossmember where the engine mount is. 2 of them is very rusty. Next time you torque that thing I think it'll break.

Cascade audio engineering makes some good stuff that I can get pretty easily. When are you looking to have it done by and with how much down time? I can probably do it in two days.

The radiator you could find in part out threads or you could buy an aftermarket aluminum one from Mushimoto (I want one ).

Where can I buy a sound barrier and how much would it cost? Where's the shop in Irvine?

$150 sounds like a pretty good price. I could order the dynomat from Amazon. I don't really care about the down time since the MR2 is a third car and not needed on a daily basis. Even if it took two weeks, I'd be fine with it. Let me know what your schedule looks like. I need to get some mechanical work done first though.

My biggest concern right now is the radiator. Mishimoto, Koyo, and PWR Racing all make radiators, but it's for a manual transmission MR2. I have an automatic. I'd really prefer to get an aluminum radiator, but I just can't seem to find one. If anyone knows where I can get an aftermarket radiator for an automatic 94 MR2, please let me know. Thanks.

I didn't know there was a difference between the automatic and manual radiators. I know the Mishimoto ones gets good reviews though.

The sound barrier/blocker material can't be purchased through the company online. I know of a shop that uses it and i can probably get a good quote from them. My schedule is usually pretty flexible so just let me know when you wanna get it done.

Davis.. Check those bolts for Tin... Remember I showed you those rusty bolts? The 3 bolts that holds the engine mount on the crossmember.

can i get anyone to look at the pics on this thread?
http://www.mr2.com/forums/na-5s-fe-3...head-leak.html

i noticed that my engine looks similar. i know my cam gear seals are leaking as i have oil coming from under the timing cover, but i can't figure out why there is oil under the head all over the block. if the gasket was leaking wouldn't i have milkshake or white smoke?

Yeah but that's not uncommon...I've never seen Tin under a car before. He always walks away pretty clean.

Hey Ren...I think we should do a compression check like everyone's been suggesting...

Hey Christian... There is this chemical you can put on the line that removes and coats the lines through. Again tho, remove the hoses and roll them up to get those deposits out that is sticking on the inside of the hose and wash them off. Take the upper and lower on the engine. It shouldn't take that long. You've gone so far with your car you can't stop now man. If you don't take those deposits out, it can go pass through your thermostat and damage your waterpump (eventually). Then thats more $$$$$$ to fix

Get to it kid...
