well i filled it up with water (because i want to make sure everything work as soon as i know everything works i'll put anti freeze)
and a lot of water was leaking out of the water inlet housing connected to a small water pipe right over the water pump.
so i decided to put some gasket maker there to stop the leaking and the bolts go in to hard it was like that before and i was out there for 40 min trying to find the right way of putting them in straight no luck... :/

ha ya i would ask for help but many of you live busy lives....
and i kinda dont want to add more to that.. :/

Sounds like you have a flat spot in your tire Dennis.

Has anybody ever taken their MR2 to Vtec Auto Repair in Irvine on 51 Auto Center Dr. ? This place has great reviews, but I'm somewhat skeptical about them. The lowest priced replacement radiator I found for my car was around $350 and these guys said they would replace my radiator with a new one for about $400.

The best idea would be to Dynomat then add the sound barrier material on top of it. I'll do more research...but this is what I've been doing with my car so at least you know yours won't be the guinea pig...
So about $150 for the sound barrier and $150 of dynomat? That doesn't sound too bad. Let me know what you find and we can work something out later this month. How much of an improvement did you find in your car after using dynomat?

deni, sounds like the same exact problem I had a couple weeks ago. Davis was right, I would go with flat spot. Take your tire off or both fronts/rear or whatever and I'm sure you will be able to easily find the culprit on the tire.

Time to put my tails for sale. Anybody wanna buy some 94+ tails??

What kind of radiator are they putting in? if they are the aftermarket aluminum ones and for $400 parts/labor then thats a deal. They are probably only making $80 in labor and the rest are parts.

Yeah, they said it's an aluminum core with the plastic top and bottom. There's no name brand to it, but they said it was new.

Plastic top/bottom end tanks? I think those sucks. Ask them how much they'll do the labor if you buy the radiator yourself. What is wrong with yours anyway? Are you overheating or you just wanted to replace it as an upgrade?
