Yeah he found me... but need to see if my brother wants to tag along. I'll probably miss it and just watch it over the weekend.

My radiator is cracked, but I haven't been able to find a radiator for an automatic 94 N/A that's all aluminum. It hasn't overheated yet, but I'd rather not wait until that point.

Aahhh... hhmmmm Do you have the manual? I'm wondering what the physical difference between the manual and automatic radiator. I say just order it at a local store. Thats what the shop is going to do anyway. Most radiator are aluminum and plastic end tanks and probably just a little over $100.

Post on the tech section what the physical difference is or ask Aaron from Lithia.

yeah i was thinking about doing that just for the heck of it. i just hate engine bay clutter. and i am 99% positive that has nothing to do with the idle issue, if anything the valve is crappy and kinda sticking, but i am gonna just check everything at this point...

Colin: Still for tomorrow night? I don't think I can. Bro does not want to come so I have to drop him off. Its going to be a long day for me tomorrow I think I'll just head home. Besides, lent is still not over (2 weeks left).

Ren: Sorry I missed your call. Was totally busy at work today.... Yeah it probably does not have anything to do with it. What other remaining points on the BGB has to be checked? Compression? If thats it then I guess its time for a rebuild.... Jumping from 1200 to 1500 isn't bad at all. I think its just totally the age of the engine

yeah compression (tho i checked it about 2 1/2 years ago and it was golden), the brake vac booster (which i doubt but will check), and for all i know we just didn't fully bleed the coolant out. the idle improved noticeably as we bled it. man it made me nervous how long it took us to bleed it out, i thought it was the HG for a sec....
everything else checks out. but that is why i am looking forward to meeting up with Dorman again on friday and you guys whenever (later friday or saturday or whenever you can come up). i am sure there is something that i am missing. argh so close!

and yet so far....... hehehee.... nah you are very close. not much to check other than those.... I'd prolly start pulling things out myself not because I don't trust you but just to see for myself hahahahaha....

What i'd check first?
1. cap / rotor
2. spark plugs
3. inspect the wires (maybe check for continuity)
4. check timing
5. check intake air box/maf sensor.
6. check throttle body / vac lines.
7. check all electric connectors (o2 sensors, temp sensors and whatever else)

after that and still have idle issues then we'll check the compression.... What was happening to the car before all these? I mean before you took the throttle body out etc????

Oh damn Jeremie! Your girlfriend is pretty cute too, so her friends must be...hmmmmmm.

Well guys, I don't think I'll be able to make it tomorrow, I've spent alot more money on the two, but if there is a really cute girl involved that I can connect with...maybe.

So apparently some people were concerned because I haven't been on. Well...I've been house sitting and the internet connection here has been kind of up and down. I just got tired of messing with it and said F it.

Anyways...

Jim: Materials will probably end up running between $300-$350. I have noticed a difference but am still wanting less road noise. That's why I'm planning on adding the sound barrier material. I can take you for a ride and you can judge for yourself.

So I realized I've had wheels for my car for over 8 months and haven't put them on...I really need to get on that .

I think it's just the clutch pedal return spring or something like that. Don't recall the name either but it happened on my sisters car too...

mark, i think i'm going to step out of the mr2 scene for a bit. it's fun and stuff. but, i got to get my company back up and start making the money out there. summer is right around the corner. so, heading over there to cali might be my last mr2 meet for awhile. planning and getting everyone together is stressful in a long run. and i am feeling it.

again. for those that came over to texasmr2. i'm sorry that you had to run into one rude person over there. there is always one bad apple in a group. and we got one. you guys lucky you don't have one....yet. lol
