If you are still looking for one. Mishimoto Aluminum Radiator
Mishimoto made an aluminum one for us, and its on sale for $250. I'm probably going to pick up one soon.

That's such a good deal for an aluminum radiator. Wish I could afford it right now .

No worries Colin...we'll fix it when you get down here.

Sorry to hear that Davis...you'll get her done soon though

So I just spent the past two hours wet sanding my white car (with 2000 grit) and I took out so much crap from the paint/removed a ton of scratches and scuffs that weren't coming out. Now I just need to spend another 2 hours polishing and it'll look half way decent...

Tell me about it dude.. I had to claybar the sh!t out of my car cause it sat at a shop for like 6 months without a wash. The paint was rough like sandpaper, there's little stuff I can't get out by hand, but I've never used a buffer. And I can't afford one either My paint is soft now but still needs a good polishing:

I was pretty pissed cause it had a repaint not too long ago

Jim: Materials will probably end up running between $300-$350. I have noticed a difference but am still wanting less road noise. That's why I'm planning on adding the sound barrier material. I can take you for a ride and you can judge for yourself.

So I realized I've had wheels for my car for over 8 months and haven't put them on...I really need to get on that .

Thanks for the offer! I may take you up on it as soon as I get my radiator problem addressed. Right now Deals on Radiators at RadiatorsWarehouse.com is checking their stock and will give me a quote tomorrow, so hopefully it's a fair price. I even called Koyo Radiators today (didn't know they had their office in Irvine) and they told me they don't make one for a N/A A/T.

$300-$350 doesn't sound too bad for materials alone. For $500 if I can quiet down the MR2 interior when I'm cruising up the 5 to SF, I think it'd be worth it.

Toyota MR2 Performance Aluminum Radiator Manual, 1990-1997, by Mishimoto

According to the mishimoto web site, it is only for the manual MR2. Mine is an automatic and nobody seems to make an aluminum radiator for it...

^Dude...your car looks real nice. Glad you got her home...

Hey Jim...I might be able to do it for cheaper. You really don't need much dynamat...more of the other stuff will probably be more effective and faster. There are some parts of the car that really do need the dynamat...figured out the worst places that resonate while driving when I stripped my interior. Just keep me posted and let me know if you wanna test drive mine out. It's an auto right now too so it'd be a pretty good comparison.

Daym I'm really curious now what the difference is with the radiator. Everything on the front end should be the same no matter if its manual or auto....

Cjung has a parts car. I'd like to take his radiator out if he is willing then take yours out and compare them. This way you know if maybe you can use the manual radiator. or again, ask Aaron and I'm pretty sure he can see it if he has it in stock on his inventory.
