I have jack stands a car port and some tools. I've never done a down pipe though. Ji is the only one with experience working on a turbo MR2. I'm sure I could figure it out. If we can get Davis down to my place again next weekend I'm sure we could get it done in a reasonable amount of time. If you bring a six pack of Dos Equis (XX) that's good enough for me

Must be a different clip. When I was there he had 2 black front clip and both of the lip where fine. He must have damaged it. Its good that he delivered it tho.... Thanks for trying to hook it up with the lid.

Man we gotta find out where this guy gets all of this. I just saw one of his new post and he is selling a set of seats upholstered and everything....

Anyway, I got my SS braided clutch line today, flushed the old fluid and bled the line. The clutch is definitely a lot better than before and it goes into gear a lot smoother. I doubt the ss clutch line had to do something with it but maybe just flushing and bleeding it in general made a huge difference. Daym the fluid is hella dirty.... its clean now tho... whoooot woooot.....

Next, gotta get ss brake lines

So, I brought my car back to the guy to fix it today, no more leaks, and the rattling sound is gone, he said the timing belt tensioner is bad... So he replaced it. This morning before i dropped the car off, car boosts fine and strong. After i picked it up and drove home, my car boosts BUT no power at

I'm coming back to the shop tomorrow morning and get everything straight. Problem after problem... is he messing with me to make money????

Sorry I went ahead and posted too soon, before I searched around the forums.. found quite a bit of info. But yeah, I was desperate O_O. My stock BPV makes a "shhhharrrr" sound when I rev it... I dont know if my bpv had gone or not. Other than that, it could be my wastegate, or a leak here and there. Gotta check it out tomorrow morning

yeah i actually paid.. 166$....
he said the tensioner was 85 bucks, but i just googled it and its only 36$

wow.... He should have checked everything the first time so u didn't have to pay the labor twice... I still haven't had a chance to call or go to that guy. Need to save up for it and do everything all at once.

ughhhh i know that "if you want it done correctly, do it yourself." but i just don't know much and i need these things fixed for right now so i can drive.. =[

That sucks Tin...I wish I knew more about Turbo cars. I would totally help you out. You should see if Matt knows what's going on with your car. He works on his turbo all the time.
