Did he ask for your driver's license? Maybe you'll be on their database or something for when they see you next time or anywhere (any canyon/streets) for that matter... I wouldn't worry about it but do be careful next time they see you and accused you for racing. If you are then hhmmmm good luck

so i shouldnt worry huh... sucks for friend who drove the car, (not even his car ) my other friend whose the owner of the prelude... was with me because she was scared of driving it after she broke a control arm or rods (not sure yet) so thats why it was "unsafe to drive"

im thinking cops just say that to scare you..
my friend got a ticket at GMR and the cop took a pic of him and his car and said he was banned from GMR and was put on the ban list.
cop 2 months later pulled him over and didnt even recognize him

haha mixxer that day was my fault...
i was doing a run down the mountain cop was going up without lights..
all of a sudden i come into a turn (in my lane of course)
and he sees me and flashes his lights so he starts trying to bust a u turn and im just downshift and take off..
my friend was coming down like 5 turns behind me catches up to the cop and gets a ticket for Intake.. and "banned"
so technically it was my fault

dang deni that sucks...
but hey i know you'll win your ticket

well its not a ticket rather i'm in their database.... and i have no piece of paper stating that i am or not the receipt if you want to call it.

anyway to find out if i'm on record and remove myself?

I wouldnt know about that one....
you would have to ask a cop thats a friend i guess to make sure...
thats pretty dumb though because cops can just put any car in that database that they think is racing, im pretty sure they need proof to back it up... which i doubt he has

^some cops are *******s.. (My brothers car, which was under my name got impounded for 30 days. I called and ask for this paper that lets me take the car out because he drove it without my permission. So the sheriff calls me and asked me a bunch of questions. Then he kept saying and like trying to get my to say that I let my brother drive the car, which I didn't.. and in the end, I had to admit that I let my brother drive the car because I was busy working and ****.. pissed me off so bad.. So the sheriff closed the case right when I admitted it. All he needed was one "yes" and closed the case right away. What a jerk =[

~some 30+ years mechanic gave me a tip on how to fight tickets..

he says, If a cop pulls you over, just give him your registration and license and DO NOT TALK! Pretend you're a mute or something. If you talk, the whole conversation will be recorded and he can use that against you in court. Cops are good at bullshitting and all that crap.. Then schedule a court date. Before going to court, call and schedule for another day and say you have an emergency on the initial court date. The cop would miss the rescheduled court date and then.. you would win with a no show from the cop.


Its too late, I don't know if any of this made sense, but whatever haha

Ha most cops are ass holes I got harrassed yesterday for riding my dritbike around in my yard. The cop pulled into my driveway and got out. I stopped riding to see what he wanted and he proceded to be a total douch bag to me.

hey all just caught up.
my weekend was lovely overall. drove the 2 down south and she ran awesome excluding the loping idle. as i drove her around orange county tho she started to run richer and hotter, by the time i drove her home tonight she was running really crappy.
i am gonna do a cylinder leak down and check a few things out, but i am pretty sure its the HG guys. i had white smoke pretty bad on startup (Dorman is my whitness) and my overflow was almost completely empty when i checked it today. and we just filled the system up on Saturday!
so i am gonna trek around for now and just leave her parked till i get things worked out. looks like in the next month or so i will be adopting Dorman's 5S out of the car he is doing a swap into, so at least i have that coming to me. it will be worth the wait.

PPS i really hate to admit it but the new fast/furious movie is actually pretty decent. i would say the best out of the ones i have been dragged to in the past. it was fun to see in the theater.
