Deni...for an S54 it shouldn't matter too much. Royal Purple is good and easy to get. For turbo i'd use MT-90. I use 5w-30 in my car...but it really shouldn't make that huge a difference.

Sweet Mixxer, I'll look into that.

Haha maintenance, I'm just waiting for my timing belt to snap.

I use 5w-30 since I get it for freeeee now.

Dennis, make sure your wearing gloves, gear oil is some nasty stuff. Working on Marks tranny made my favorite sweater nasty. My fault for wearing it though. There's a drain plug on the bottom and a fill plug on the side. If I remember correctly it's a 24mm bolt.

OMGWTFBBQ!!?!??

Oh Davis... I'd recommend getting those motor mount inserts since you do autox every month. Kirkosaurus or twos r us depending on how bad yours are. Don't know if you saw my post a couple of pages back. I was surprise mine was that bad for an N/A. Maybe the previous owner did had her fun with the car

Yeah, I saw your post Mixxer. I'm not to worried about it right now, but when the engine swap is underway, for sure I'm going to buy it. Just waiting to see if I can get the garage...

aaahhh thats cool.. $50/month is cheap for a garage i think. Does he/she know its going to be messy afterwards with all the oil and all? hhhmmmm Thats cool tho. Hope it does not get occupied right away after your neighbor moves out.

Dude...that's a hell of a deal. If I could rent a garage for $50 a month I would. If you can't afford I'll pay the $50 a month and we'll split it

Can't store it in our current garage, we share it with our other neighbors and I don't know about parking it on the street, having to move it all the time for street sweeping ;P yeah yeah lame excuse. I just want that garage already! Get the car in, get the engine out and everything else I need and sell that sucker to the junker!

Just deal with moving it around till you get the second garage. You could always use it as a daily
