Soooo, anyone got any tips on failing a car without making it obvious? NO check engine light...

put a bad catalytic converter or uummmmm put some holes on the vacume lines or something like the egr heheee..

What year is your car? U cant sell it for more? Anyway, good luck.

Yup.. His car has been sold. He took it back to the body shop who painted the car to get minor stuff taken care off and I guess they were interested with it. He says they have become someone good friends because he does a lot of business with them. The body shop guy is very reasonable and even said after he inspects everything that he will offer Tim more than what he was asking for. Pretty much sold for $8K plus maybe a little more.

He'll still try to hookup on sunday with us tho.

Hey Colin...just add some really light weight motor oil...it'll seep into the cylinders more easily and you'll burn oil. You can also be really bad and just put some motor oil in the intake mani...that'll get it

Kinda funny how we've always try to find ways to get it to pass smog and now looking for a way to fail it

Start pulling connectors off of stuff! and once the CEL comes on, plug it back.

IE: Temp sensor, EGR, TPS to name a few.
