Haha Frankie, yeah no pic of me skating I think, maybe Mark took one while I was riding around with the camera stuck to the board.
It's the part of the video that was all shaky! |

Yeah...I have some pictures of you on the board. I just need to upload them.
Hey Mixxer...those rotors are no good. Slotted rotors shouldn't have the slots going all the way to the edge. It weakens the rotors and makes them prone to cracking... |

Really? Thats odd. I know drilled all the way aren't good but didn't really hear anything about slotted all the way to the edge. I'm sure its done for a reason.... Now I'm thinking if my EBC (dimpled/slotted) are no good. I know they make amazing rotors for motorcycles. The EBC I got are slotted all the way to the edge just like those ones but they are not drilled all the way which is why they called it dimpled/slotted.

Yeah...the Bimmer and Porsche guys talk about it all the time. The slots are good to have but only if they end at least a centimeter before the edge or the strength is compromised.
If anyone is interested in a sweet steering wheel...(I like it at least)... eBay Motors: JDM TOYOTA MR2 SUPRA LEATHER STEERING WHEEL SW20 JZA80 (item 250395859332 end time Apr-24-09 08:03:23 PDT) |

ic... I guess its a factor but i'm sure depends on the make and material used. I know you theres a saying you get what you paid for but the EBC I got certainly is not cheap and I liked what I've read about them.

Honestly for simple street use it shouldn't matter much...but on the track I wouldn't trust EBC's. There's a reason all the big brake manufacturers make their slotted rotors with the slots ending before the edge...

Okay Mark I get it I get it, so many pics.
If I ever get a brake kit, it has to be Endless. My only reason is because I like their name! |

I would definitely go with Brembo, Wilwood, or Stoptech. Brembo for the name. Wilwood for the weight saving. Stoptech for the innovative design.
I like the name Endless though too ![]() |

I even remember an article in R&T mag back in '94, an 840 got stuck on a train track and hit by a commuter train driver side. The guy walked away from the accident with nothing more than a broken arm! Are you kidding me?! BMW even bought the car from the guy and gave him a brand new one so they could study the effects of the crash. That impressed the hell out of me. |
