argh being sick sucks! but i guess that is why i had time to catch up just now...
Colin: congrats on the money and the ribs Pinpin: welcome, post pics, and don't "higher" your car, remove the body kit ![]() Davis and Frankie: you guys crack me up! ![]() Reaxion: i would have to say that i just completely despise the 5S..but your experience with them has produced some amazing stories. i can't believe the car started and idled after a unicorn let loose on your block! that is crazy! i am a fan of the 22r's myself, i am saving money to pick one up as my DD as i have decided to make the 2 a dedicated canyon runner/track queen mwhahahaha! |

), to Oregon for 3 days of autox from 8-5, canyon runs, and back. Sure, it was slow in a straight line, but it makes the mr2 so easy to drive quickly and at the limits. TRD rear sway, 215f 235r tires, springs/shocks, turbo x-brace and an ebay front tower brace and it was amazing to drive. The only thing I ever broke was an endlink, and I had trouble with the starter Not that my 3s hasn't been reliable, but it's much more stressful, haha.My dream daily would be a Turqouise Pearl or SMG 93 N/A, t-tops or hardtop, tan interior, all stock down to the wheels, or the same except a 94/95 in red, white, or SMG with tan interior. |

may she RIP never had to do a thing to her except oil changes and the clutch...anywhoo after that i picked up the deuce and love her but miss the reliability of the 22re. plus i drive A LOT so i need something i can beat the crap out of. so that is wat i am hunting for right now.... Reaxion: i would wholeheartedly agree with you. if the 5S didn't have a blown HG i would still be driving it. but here she sits, and while i have the head off i figure i might as well do the front main, cam seals, water pump, timing belt, tensioners etc and i am asking myself if the 5S is even worth all of that? that is why i have decided to get my lil p/u truck as the DD, then i can do the minimal required to get the 5S running again, thus enabling me to start playing with the suspension tuning of the vehicle without needing the thing to run all the time so i can work get to school etc...god i miss driving her tho! |

^ Shoot yea if you keep the oil changed in them they will run forever. That motor is a good example of the good ol' Toyota reliablity.

Or V6 since you have a daily and a place to work on the car. My original plan was to go V6, but it fell through, then 3sge, but the guy didn't accept my offer until after it was at the shop for the turbo swap, haha. |

Gixxer, My Blitz 03 was quoted around $175 bucks each to fix. That's because it's made of aluminum. If your rim is made of steel will be easier to fix and probably cheaper. Call R&B motoring and ask for Jack. He's the man in charge. I told him about this MR2 site and he will be getting a extra customers. Che also dropped his rims to get polish.
If your rim is aluminum expect to leave it there for at least a month. My Blitz are still @ the shop. So expect some delays if your rims is made of aluminum. That's because it's harder to weld and work on it. |

I'm planning to repaint Mindy this summer.
So yeah if she's mismatched it's okay, which I know she will be once I take the 91 spoiler off. It's gonna be red under there!! |
