oh "mmax" i love socal, was born n raised here. lots of things to do, if you like nature there is the mountains, beach, and desert, if you are more urban there is lots of city, museums and record stores to explore. course when ur broke it limits your options...
downsides are the traffic, and the job and housing situation. the cost of living is expensive compared to other places, and jobs are kinda hard to come by right now...i would advise you to research before you make any decisions. check out craigslist.com and browse the LA and orange county sites. it will give you and idea of what kind of work is available and how much the cost of living is...

Hey Ren.. Yeah its cool but as I was telling Davis, I have a customer tomorrow at 9am so I need the garage side of the driveway free. I want to finish that soon as the guy comes and I really don't want to work on any more car after 12-1pm the latest. Davis will be working on his own car and I'll help/look over whats going on if I finish the mercedes early. I'm really trying to keep my sundays free if I can to chillax It should be quick as my brother said he's going to be here to help me.

I got everything to do the job. Bought the gear/pulley puller today. $12 YESH! Thank you Harbor Freights! See you at 8am sharp Mix! Hopefully I can bust the t-belt in 3 hours. and then there's the dizzy, which I hope would take us less than an hour to take it out, install, and advance my timing.

and we'll all just float on alright!

Those are the worst ones. I'd rather do fast hard jobs* than slow easy ones.

So the turbo is pretty much gutted and pulled. Last things to do are drop the fuel tank, pull the long clutch line, remove a couple brackets, pull the carpet, and yank off the doors Then we get to chop up the body!!!

*Yes...I did say "fast hard jobs"

Those are not hard jobs.. just needs a lot of muscle. Its always easy to take things off right but putting it back together is a different story... Anyone can take a car apart hehehehehee

What a long day today...

10 minutes to order my parts
20 minutes to get to Mixxers place
660 minutes to learn that the crank pulley bolt won't loosen.

Tired, sleepy time.

Yeahhh! I got home and my grandpa was like "did you know there was an earthquake?"

So I ordered a shirt with my midship addicted logo, we'll see how it'll turn out.

About $10 and I just sent a quote for 25 MidshipAddicted stickers.

I believe I can do the t-belt in 2 hours with the right tools and shade.

Yeah.. time to look for a nice portable tent (EZ-up). Should be a pretty good investment than working under the sun.
