Nice Ren! Gave her/him a name yet? Aww 87 is sooo adorableee!!! Just look at that chubby lip!

Lemme get them 91 wheels so I can slap some R-compounds on them for next season!! Naw, I needs some lighter wheels.

EDIT:

Haha up on top again I just noticed!

So work was super slow today, I only worked on 3 cars this whole day!! Just stood around and watched what other techs were doing.

Hmm after looking at my sig, I think that would be a cool decal to have on the side of the rear fenders.

we got it for $600. he didn't want to go much below that. the main issue is that we didn't have all the money up front. i will be getting cash in the next week, but dude was cool and is holding it with a down payment dorman gave him. i still think its a killer deal, even if the suspension and motor need to be overhauled. its a hardtop with manual everything dude!

Yeah...plus at that low a price it's kinda hard to go lower. Plus someone offered him the full $800 if he got it smogged. So he made an extra $100 by selling to Ren.

Oh snaps! I wonder what it is.

So I have been looking around for some light weight wheels in 15s. Good luck with that. None are affordable. The ones I like are the Type Cs by SSR in 15x6 and 15x7. They're $400 a pop though.

So my next choice would be the Enkei RPF1s in 16x7 +30 w/ 215/45 and 17x8 +35 w/ 235/45. They're around $200 each. Most likely I'm going to be getting those.

Oh yeah and time to max out my camber.

Why are you gonna go with such big wheels (if you chose the RPF1's)? Reconsidering the V6 swap

Congrats man! Hey at least you have a rear bar unlike the rest of the people here.

My friend has the RPF1s in 17x8.5 w/ 235/45 and those are lighter than the 14s w/ 195/60! Plus those are the only wheels I could afford at the moment. If I was full time, shoot I'd go with the Type Cs in a heartbeat haha.
Plus with the fatty width, I can add fatty tires.

The Enkeis above are lighter than the Z wheels too Mix!

I'll go V6 down the road, I actually want to buy Rens 5S and build it. What do you say Ren? Sell me the 5S and I'll make it into a beast. with like 130whp. Oh and I would also like your driverside fender since your going to be parting it out soon.

But by the end of next month Mindy should be red again and I'll purchase the wheels by the end of the year for next season.

U seem to be spending on unecessary stuff davis. You could have waited than painting the front bumper. Then again, you were thinking of selling her.... I suggest moving forward that you plan what you need to do than spending $$$ blindly now that you are thinking of painting Mindy red again.

I've always been spending money blindly on Mindy, she's so spoiled. Oh well.

For sure, paint, then wheels, then whatever else.
