No clue, my bar has the red TRD emblem. I bought it a couple months before they started to discontinue/clearance sale them.

Hey guys! Mark your calenders! October 11, 2009. Willow Springs track day! Best thing is, it's on a Sunday, yay!

wow i haven't been on this thread in a long time! i didn't even bother looking at the pages i have missed over the last week or so...i miss my socal chat thread buddies! life has been too crazy for me to be on the internet as of late.....

i am gonna take some pics of the AW and post em up later this week. i am sooo in love with this car! my family thinks i am insane. "why do you keep bringing home these old Toyotas that don't run?!" my mom was pretty cool about it tho. she says it "has potential".

anywhoo, Dorman found a kid up north who really really wants to buy the '91. he put a down payment on it! so i scrapped the idea of stripping it and smog failing it...now i gotta clean the car up, put it back together, and have it ready for him to pick up in a few weeks or so.

in the meantime, i am researching 16v 4AGE rebuilds!

Are the New ones stickers or a metal plate like the one I have on mine?
My TRD Bar has the same plate that yours does. It is the older production model (made before a certain year I think). There is a box on it so you can stamp your VIN on it or whatever too. I like it a little better. Mine is a little messed up

Congrats Ren! If I had the extra cash and space I would've picked it up.

^Good thing you didn't cause she would have beat you up ...

I've been doing a lot of research on the AW11 and have found so many cool suspension and brake upgrades that are very cost efficient. I'm interested to see where she goes with the car.

What do you guys think of a two tone paint scheme? British Racing Green on the bottom and Black on top??? Pretty much like this but on the MKI

If your going to go with the original style two tone, then yes i think it will look good. If it was just the top, meh it would look good to I guess.

Are ProSport and Autometer gauges crap? I'm trying to find a oil pressure gauge and a matching boost gauge. It seems to be either under $70 Prosports and Autometers or $200 Blitz and Apexi's.

Anyone have experience with the gauges from twosrus?

I know Autometers have been around for a while and I've had them in the past. Blitz and Apexi's i think you are just paying for the name.

Is this guy talking about his intake manifold where it says "TWIN ENTRY TURBO"? I'd be really surprise if it is twin turbo :
