I should have some shocks this weekend if I get around to installing my brakes/TRD springs. I will also be down in LA either around the 15th or the 23rd.. Has anyone tried these new ebay bodykits/material thats poppin up? Duraflex Just watch the video....I dont like fiberglass because of the breakage..but I hate urethane because of the sagging...this looks like a good mix between the two..my favorite line in the video.."hey its me from "Rice Boy TV"..." I might just have to buy a front bumper and drive it into a parking curb a few times..

Yes. The problem is I keep seeing modded cars around me then I want to modify something and all I have is a lowly Camry. SO, I have stopped doing anything to it, therefore saving up for an MR2 Turbo
![]() So what's been up around here lately? I see Mark is moving and getting started on his v6 swap. |

just in case anyone else wondered...
Quote:
This is a myth.. Basically it boils down to this. They have emissions just like us except more stringent and cost more..Instead of renewing their registrations/emissions they just sell the car to a junker and buy a new one.. this is why you "assume" cars imported from japan have 40k KM on them..that may not always be the case.. SHAKEN not Stirred oh and its just like Cali...if you know the right emissions guy and got a 20 or a bottle of Saki you can get away with murder Last edited by 1stgen; 07-09-2009 at 02:13 PM. |

That's the early 1mz, pre 97-00' (both non vvti). 01+ 1MZ had vvti I believe and I think if it came off a Lex from 99 onwards it had vvti?
I just remembered the Lex were equiped with vvti earlier than the otas. |

just saw this thought someone would be interested..
1988 Toyota MR2 Supercharged - $1500 (San Diego) Reply to: sale-neq4k-1263317179@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] Date: 2009-07-10, 12:26PM PDT 1988 Toyota MR2 with the Supercharged engine, 5 speed, t-tops, air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, rear spoiler, factory alloy wheels and they are the correct ones for the Supercharged MR2. Runs and drives, engine is strong, the Supercharged MR2's are fast. Original red paint is faded. Black interior is ok, not great. Has some minor dings here and there. Not perfect hence the cheap price. If it was perfect or near perfect I'd put it on ebay and get a lot more. Just the Supercharged engines alone are worth about $1200.00 to $1500.00 and the transmission which are different for the Supercharged cars are worth another $1000.00. $1500.00 or best offer. 619-234-9505 * Location: San Diego * it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests 1988 Toyota MR2 Supercharged |

Some of you know that I'm going to get my car repainted. I was planning to get it repainted by the end of this month, butttttt there are so many AutoX event's coming up, that I've decided to delay it to the end of August. The events are on July 26th, Aug 8th, Aug 22nd (practice) and Aug 23rd. You guys should make it out!! I now have much more time to save up for a better paint job, yay.
