Some of you know that I'm going to get my car repainted. I was planning to get her repainted by the end of this month, butttttt there are so many AutoX event's coming up, that I've decided to delay it to the end of August. The events are on July 26th, Aug 8th, Aug 22nd (practice) and Aug 23rd. You guys should make it out!! I now have much more time to save up for a better paint job, yay.

dayum its been too long since i been on here!
i never built kit cars but i used to build model airplanes..kit cars look fun tho i may have to pick one up! 510's rule, i used to pit for a buddy of mine who rally races one, its sick! its got dual side draft carbs on it, fully built and tubbed with a multi point cage and everything! it screams like a banshee ![]() Josh good luck with your turbo mission! Colin congrats on the interview!!! That is awesome I am sure you will excel ![]() Kelvin, that sucks about the trans issue. Davis autox rules i can't wait to have the AW running so i can play! Speaking of which, so far i haven't done a whole lot to her as i have been trying to focus on the 5s build, but i have stripped out the whole interior excluding the headliner, seats, dash, and center console. I have been slacking on pics (for both cars) and am going to handle that by the end of the day so help me! Anyways, miss you guys! |

Yep. To me, having it all one color is a bit boring, gotta have some contrast.

i agree davis...
frankie i have thought about the spyder rims. for now i will be using a set that the kid who is buying my '91 will be bringing down. apparently he owned a mk1 but it got totaled, but he pulled some parts off the car before it became a cube. i guess they are 15x7's "Superior" rims with some low mileage Kumho's on them, and he has a full size spare so i am excited for that. its a very economical solution to my problem. gives me a bit more pocket money to put into the seven rib or suspension/steering PS proteges are nice cars Colin i approve ;p |

I'm glad to see you finally got your thread started Ren. Maybe you should tell the story of how you got the motor
...that was an adventure I feel like everyone is getting their car painted but me ...but then again I can't really complain...my paint job isn't horrible.Oh...good news though. The red car finally got new tie-rods and end links as well as new front brakes. Also, thanks to Davis...she's riding a set of shinny 16's . I'll detail her this week and post pictures. Now i just have to pick up some new struts and slap on the 93 springs and she'll be finished. If only the white car was gonna be that simple. |

Damn Z wheels on stock suspension. I remember how that was, 4x4 action!
![]() Argh I'm debating if I should go wingless or 94 wing. Wingless I can do alot more with the AutoX theme I have in mind, plus I'll save ALOT of money from having to find a 94 trunk + wing. Which in turn makes everything cheaper. If I get a 94 wing, that means I'll need a set of 94 tail lights and that's going to be like what? $1000+ into it? Minus the paint job. But the 94 wing is just too sexy or maybe go 98 like Kelvin... HMM. |

Since my springs are a bit saggy it doesn't look too bad. I really need to get some GR2's so I can slap on my 93 springs
. Who knows...maybe I'll even do the bushings on the red car |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm really bummed out right about now. Some dumb lady nearly tboned me. This **** could have been bad. She totally ran her red light as I was making a left onto a major street. I hope there is no major frame damage. It doesn't look too bad but she hit me at a decent speed. My head totally bounced off the top of the window area. This sucks. |
